I bought this laptop a few months ago, and honestly it has been amazing. The performance is extremely fast and smooth for everything I do. Gaming runs perfectly with high settings, no lag, and no overheating issues. The display looks incredible, and the overall speed makes multitasking very easy. Boot time is fast, apps open instantly, and gameplay feels very stable and responsive. The build quality is premium, and it’s also surprisingly quiet for such a powerful machine. This is a special laptop for anyone who wants serious gaming performance and smooth everyday use. I’m very satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend it.

Asus laptop was an amazing choice. The build quality is top notch and being a light weight gaming laptop is what I’ve been looking for quite some time. Upgrading the ssd was effortless but wished it had the ability to upgrade the ram instead of being soldered in the motherboard. The screen is beautiful with deep colors with good visibility on strong light areas. The sound is full and spacious. Battery life for me last for a solid 2 hours of game play on high demand titles, but your results will vary. I will highly recommend this laptop to get your gaming fix without the bulk

Excellent (gaming) laptop. Sleek design, versatile modes (silent, performance, turbo), and great display range.
But buy yourself a cooling pad, because this will run hot if you max it out for gaming or rendering.

Great looks, good speaker, and sleek performance. It runs pretty hot, though, and can get quite loud. However, the performance makes up for these issues. Grab a headphone while gaming, and you should be fine.

Firstly, I was a long time MacBook user. Switched from a M2 Pro MacBook to this one, ROG Zephrus G14 with 5070 Ti. The reason for the switch, I wanted a single device that I can use for work and as well as gaming. Hoping to use the GPUs for some slight programming too. It looks sleek and minimalistic. It’s really powerful and the screen is just vibrant! Any game, I throw at it, it just rips through while maintaining temps around 70-85C even in performance mode (didn’t even try turbo a lot yet). The battery seems ok so far but have to test it a bit more, easily 5-6 hrs or more on light tasks. The biggest inconvenience so far was how much time it took to set up WSL on windows and environments like I used to have on Unix on my mac. But this is more of a windows issue. Besides that, I would also recommend keeping a look out for an open-box. I got a discount of like $300 and it’s practically brand new!

This is the best laptop I’ve ever owned and it’s not close. It runs hot and loud under load, but if you use G Helper with and remove the bloatware that comes pre installed, it can be tamed. Incredible battery life, amazing gaming performance, screen is beautiful, but very expensive.

I've been very pleased with the performance and portability of this device. It looks and feels premium, and I've been impressed by the quality so far. Cramming all that performance into a tiny space comes at the cost of increased heat, so that's something to be aware of.

The computer is really solid and can provide extremely solid performance. The downside is it get really hot to the touch and the fans ramp up to full speed even under light workloads.

This thing is exceptional. Thinnest and best gaming-grade laptop I've ever owned. At this size their will always be a tradeoff and in this case its fan noise when playing something intense. You can either turn the amazing speakers up, or use a headset. Every other spec is best of class, including display, keyboard, build-quality etc. Plays AAA games with maxed settings fairly easily. I do recommend saving/splurging for at least a 5070Ti for the graphics memory.

man i love this thing. the Zephyrus series i have loved the audio since trying the G14 circa 2022.
Wasn't expecting the AMD 370 iGPU to perform as well as it did, bit a bit power hungry. The 5070Ti plowed through more demanding tasks with ease and efficiency.
i was curious to charge via 45 watt brick, and it's totally do-able.
Just wish i could find wifi drivers for win10.

A few kinks still being worked out via software (but this is always to be expected with new hardware) but nothing major and overall a really great experience both for gaming and productivity use. I dual boot windows and fedora linux and have gotten CUDA working properly on the Linux side and have run AAA games on the windows side. Build quality is really good and the fan noise is not too bad. It does get hot under load but that’s just physics. Keyboard and touchpad are great and the screen is truly gorgeous. Feels a little pricey at the asking price but if you can snag it on a sale around $2k or open box even lower I think it’s a good deal.

After tracking reviews for months I decided to grab the G14 5070Ti version of the laptop. It's the best bang for your buck based on performance for the price. It does run hot with stock settings but it's expected this powerhouse being in such a small form factor. Make sure to modify your fan curves to optimize temps based on the different profiles and you'll be golden.

Was a good laptop definitely did not lag during game performance when I first got it. I downloaded Grand theft auto five worked great however, the fans can be loud. The keyboard can be hot during extreme gameplay, which is normal, but I was not a fan of when I left Grandtheft auto five on, and I stepped away for the computer for more than an hour unexpectedly. When I returned back the computer was having a glitch when I put on Netflix. If you’re considering getting this laptop, definitely would recommend but I don’t need a gaming laptop. I just need something for school.

Runs great. High performance especially in such a small form factor. Bought it because i always craved more power from my rog ally x. I figured 1000 bucks for the rog xbox ally x could be used towards this and i dont regret it. Barely notice it in my bag for travel.

The G14 is honestly one of the best laptops I’ve ever used. Great size, great performance, strong build quality, and it’s powerful enough to be a true all-in-one device. It’s the kind of laptop that makes you say “this is what laptops should be.”
The only reason I returned it comes down to one thing: I prefer staying on the Intel platform for my personal ecosystem and consistency. That’s a preference thing, not a flaw with the laptop. I also wanted to keep my devices aligned in terms of brand/software experience so I’m not constantly managing different ecosystems.
If you’re okay with AMD and want a near-perfect 14” performance laptop, this is an easy recommendation.
Some cons were the battery life surprisingly was worse than the G16 which still was not bad for light tasks, but was expecting better. On top of windows updates, NVIDIA updates, you also have to update the integrated AMD gpu software which is a lot to have to manage which is why it was not for me.

Amazing sleek-looking laptop! The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 not only looks premium with its platinum white finish but also performs incredibly well. The 3K OLED display is stunning — colors pop, and everything feels smooth with the 120Hz refresh rate. It handles heavy tasks and gaming effortlessly thanks to the Ryzen AI 9 HX and RTX 5070 Ti combo. The laptop runs cool and quiet, and the 32GB RAM makes multitasking seamless. Definitely worth the price — a perfect balance of power, portability, and design.

This laptop is amazing! Can run virtually any game you throw at it and is perfect for my college work! It can get a bit loud when playing GPU intense games, but wearing noise canceling headphones help a lot! Would recommend, especially when on sale!

I spent two months trying out 4 different 2025 laptops from the top 3 companies. The ZephyrusG14 is by far the most value with the most longevity. However, I took off 1 star because it is not for beginners. Knowledge of windows, config files, 3rd party applications (1 in particular), undervolting and cooling is necessary to make this GPU holder pretending to be a laptop usable. It's not difficult or overly irritating, but the power distribution must be adjustable to transform this oven with a GPU to a gaming laptop.
