It is a great laptop i have been using it for more that a Year and its still great

Really good computer. It does all the things I want it to do.

Overall for the 999.00 I paid this thing is epic. It crushes games and windows screams with the intel 12th gen and ddr5. My only reason for 4 stars is that the cooling system could have personally been better. It won’t overheat but the fans are aggressive. It was a no brainer after I worked on a friends.

It is thin and big screen. I use it for school and run some test app. I like it because the battery is enough for my class and it act very fast.

Purchased on sale and it is still one of the best gaming PC’s in the market. Love the built in performance dash called “Armoury Crate”

This laptop worked out Great! I wold run SolidWorks and ZBrush consistently (at the same time!) Really fast and had no problem keeping up with any processing demands. Could be loud at times, but great product if the price!

I’ll keep this short and simple. I really tried to like this laptop but quality control is a huge issue. The 3070 plays all games with ease, the sound is loud enough and crisp, the keys feel good but are slightly too far apart as to make typing or using shortcuts difficult at times, the screen is horrible… I returned the first one due to backlight bleed. The second one started with a small amount and it slowly got worse. This was the 1080p 144hz panel… avoid it. The wifi was fast on the first laptop, but oddly half the speed on the second? Both had the same card. And the second laptop would lag up, or my cursor wouldnt work untilI restarted. And lastly there was a continous “D” symbol that popped up for what I assume was the sound environment? I ended up returning it, and am now searching for a suitable gaming laptop once again.

ASUS TUF Dash 15 Gaming Laptop is truly best bang for your buck. Packs a 10-core Intel Core i7-12650H CPU and NVIDIA® GeForce RTX 3070 GPU. It is super thin and light for a gaming laptop. Only 4.41 lbs! The screen is a fast 144Hz refresh rate full HD panel. 16GB of DDR5 RAM 512GB of SSD This new iteration improves from previous version by including a full keyboard with numpad at the right side, 720p webcam, one more usb-c port with Thunderbolt 4 support replaces one usb-a port so now you have 2 usb-c port but one less usb-a port. On board dual speakers support Dolby Atmos and is pretty loud. Pretty quiet and cool while watching movie, browsing the web and typing this review. Not very loud and not very hot when playing games impresses me. Battery life is excellent, after more than one hour of non gaming time, I still has 82% But playing game such as Control drop battery from 80% to 50% in 15 minutes. Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered drop from 100% to 75% in 20 minutes and fps only hover between 30 to 38fps. Here are some games stats: Fortnite 100 to 120 fps in epic setting. Control 44 to 50 fps with everything high, including highest setting for ray tracing and play with directX 12. Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered the game cap at 60 fps with everything high. Flight Simulator 2020 39 to 53 fps with high end graphic setting. Screen brightness of 250 nits is a bit low, I wish it could be brighter. The specification states color gamut (sRGB) only 62.5% makes me suspect this might be TN LCD panel, however watching videos, viewing images, the color is acceptable. Colors in games such as Rocket League and Fortnite does not shows much differences compare to my IPS monitor except viewing angle. So not a deal breaker for me since I sit at dead center. Webcam is a bit grainy but that means I look better in Zoom. These is a white LED next to the camera that indicate whether the webcam is on or not. Nice. The only thing that annoys me is the keyboard, the insert key is shared with delete and the end key is shared with home key. Pause and Print Screen keys should move to the row next to the volume keys.

Really nice laptop, games run smoothly and overall use it's quite good.

I just bought this pc for school and business. I have yet to game on it , but soon will see how it does after a simple 32gb ram upgrade and possibly a nvme hard drive upgrade and partitioned correctly for my own personal setup for home/school and business . I appreciate all of the help I got at Best Buy in knightdale, NC . The people were very helpful and informative and friendly too. Thanks Best Buy for helping me get started on a new adventure in my life. So far so good, pc works well, just have to finish setting up all the apps I want and figure out how to sync my iPhone to it if possible . Thanks again and merry Xmas.

Overall this is a very nice and solid gaming laptop. Upon removal from the box, you can tell this is a very well built and sturdy laptop. However, it is still quite portable and not too heavy where it's a major burden. The white WASD keys are a nice touch for the FPS gamer. Not a big fan of having a 10 key numpad on a laptop, I feel that it just is wasted real-estate on the laptop and adds unnecessary bulk. Now let's get in to the nitty gritty of the laptop and how it performs: BENCHMARK: Cinebench R23 Multi - 14376 Single - 1879 Shadow of Tomb Raider (Ultra with Ray tracing) - 98 FPS Shadow of Tomb Raider (Ultra no Ray Tracing) - 128 FPS This laptop will pretty much take any game you throw at it and run it at Ultra or High settings without an issue. The 144hz screen makes gaming very smooth and the display looks great. It is 1080p only, but I think 1440p would be too small for a 15.6 laptop so 1080p is great. The nVME disk is fast with good write/read performance and the possibility to expand to a second drive as well. You can also add more RAM if you want to as well, the RAM is not soldered. The downside with this laptop is how hot it gets. I know they get hot, but this thing is a little TOO hot. The CPU tends to peak around 85 and the fans sound like a jet taking off at the airport when gaming. This might be resolved with a cooling pad for the laptop, but still, thermodynamics are important to a laptop and I feel like more airflow could've helped here. All in all, this is a good gaming laptop. It has the latest and greatest technology you could ask for in a small package, is fairly priced, and competes with most modern desktop builds (even my custom rig!) Just wish cooling was better on it as I worry about the long term health of the device with that in mind.

This laptop is a great buy for a decent price. Highly recommend for casual gamer. Does get hot but runs smooth.
