Setup was extremely easy. It took just a few simple steps to have this router up and running. I primarily purchased this to improve a competing internet signal as well as to add additional security. So far, it seems to be doing the job quite well!

This is a great router. It has all 5mthe features I want with a good price. I like the ASUS software, The dual wifi networks, and the USB port.

I gave my ASUS AC68R to my daughter for her college apartment so I got this model to replace. Same ease of use as before. I connect to the Arris SB6183 Cable Modem with Xfinity. The tricky thing is to make sure the modem is up and running with Xfinity first and then power on the ASUS AC1200. Otherwise, if the boot sequence is our of order, the ASUS may not get the IP address via DHCP from the cable modem and the DNS correctly.

Set up was easy and it seems to be working ok. The dual band instructions was confusing at first. It seems to have a better signal with my modem now. the price was right!!

Yes, I would recommend this Asus Router to replace an old one, easy to set up with the guide provided. Works great, happy I chose this one, am pleased with this purchase. Arrived in a mannerly fashion, perfect condition.

I replaced my Netgear Nighhawk with this and I am happy with it. While the range is not amazing, it covers my small apartment perfectly. Set up was easy, this model offers a set up wizard to assist, or a manual set up option. When installing a router of any time please remember to change the default admin password and if you do not plan to use it, disable the Guest network.

Bought on line from Illinois for my daughter away at school in Iowa. She went and picked it up and said it was easy to set up and works great for their apartment.

Decent router for price. Nothing to really brag about though. The router is stuck at 80mb now. We sort of put rather heavy wear on it though...

Fast, easy set up- common sense, labeled indicator lights and it has worked well for my single user household where I use a wired connection to my work from home PC alongside 2 wireless devices. I would absolutely buy it again!

This router seemed to work pretty good, its surprisingly small but it pumped out good wifi signal in a 4K square foot house. I did end up returning the unit because it was advertised (on best buy) to be able to share 3G/4G signal, but you can not. I ended up buying a 24 dollar router from amazon (that's even smaller!) for my application and its working great.

If your router is old, buy a new one. And while you are at it, buy a new USB plug-in signal-receiver if your machine needs one. Internet measured down and upload speeds will increase markedly. You'll have a chance to upgrade your connection security. Costs less than 100 bucks; when you can afford satisfaction this is an easy shot.

One reason I bought this because of the reviews and the price didn’t want to spend a lot of money, it's very light and small not bulky. Bought it on sale. Not so easy to install (software) got help from youtube videos. Now that I am working from home needed to strength my signal, So far it is working. Ask me 6 months from now.

We were having connectivity issues due to multiple streaming devices and high internet usage, and were constantly unplugging our old router to reset it. We replaced our old router with this one and have had no issues since then. I was worried about the setup but it was very easy. I am thrilled with my purchase thus far.

I bought this to upgrade the WiFi in my home. This product supports both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands. The 2.4Ghz band in my neighborhood has been getting crowded and I've noticed speed issues with my wireless. When my laptop is connected to the 5Ghz band I have much better performance.

I had just used this product for one week. It is not bad compared to other. My family had done a speed test and this one surpassed the other router. It is not bad!

This router was easy to hook up. It works great with charter spectrum. I have 5 tv’s an two are used for gaming. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Bought this just as an access point for my shop. I have a nighthawk in my house and my nighthawk gets about three times the speed of this one. The ASUS does its job, just don’t expect it to have blazing speeds for gaming.
