You only get 475GB. But otherwise satisfied with ASUS.

Definitely spend your money elsewhere. This laptop glitches so much! I am having to force shutdown my computer at least twice a week just to use it. It started off working really really well and now, 4 months later, I’m on the market looking for a new laptop. The battery life is also terrible! It basically lives on the charger, I’ll get maybe 2ish hours unplugged. The display is probably the only good thing about this laptop. Everything is very clear and crisp but that’s about it.

Laptop ran well for 12 months, then the CPU fan broke right after the warranty expired. The memory load is always very high and cannot be used for tasks more complicated than we browsing. I've also noticed massive slow downs. The display is excellent though.

This laptop is supposed to be a top computer and we are going to have to take it in to have it fixed again

There is no info about this anywhere online, but you cannot install a 2tb or any ssd over 1tb in this or the Q420VA (16gb ram, i7). Otherwise the laptop is fine, but the fact that I had to find that out from tech support after hours of attempts and troubleshooting really annoys me

What the heck? Advertised as 16gb, comes with 8gb, no room for expansion. False advertising!

ASUS has built themselves an amazing reputation built on dependability, reliability, and essential performance. The company always provides great presentation for your laptop or what ASUS calls a Zenbook in those case. While you open the box the card board is designed to mechanically (like) move and display your laptop at an angle. The Zenbook at first impression looks awesome in the inkwell gray and sharp lines that are on top of the lid. Upon removing it from the box I could instantly feel the strong build quality. Upon further inspection I could see all areas of the laptop are top notch and are quality parts. No misaligning parts, everything is just right. The initial startup was quick and easy. I already have a Microsoft account so it took minutes to get going. Some pretty cool features I noticed right out of the box including: Good assortment of ports including 2 thunderbolt 4s, USB type A (3.2), headset 3.5mm Jack, and a HDMI port. Unfortunately, no Ethernet port but you can always use an adapter. Although no Ethernet port the Zenbook does have Wifi 6E which is the latest in Wifi tech. A number pad that illuminates in the mouse pad that will disappear with a tap of a touch sensitive button. Pretty cool but I like buttons for a number pad; however, most 14 inch laptops don’t have enough room for a number pad so this is pretty cool to have. An illuminated keyboard which is a must now-a-days. The keyboard feels great under your fingertips with great travel and will satisfy any button pusher A Harmon/Kardon audio system and Dolby Atmos support. A performed some audio tests and had great satisfaction with the external speakers using YouTube. Great sound for a laptop. The laptop is equipped with an Intel EVO i5 13500H processor and 8gb of ram. Although sufficient for most tasks I would like 16gb. Strangely equipped Intel Iris XE graphics which is basic paired with a 2.8k OLED HDR touchscreen. I would only use this laptop for light gaming or gaming on some light settings. I would use it though for watching movies, going on the web, and it performs quite well for daily tasks. The screen is fantastic for YouTube and movies in my opinion. The screen does not flip into a tablet style but will lay back flat to the surface 180 degrees. The laptop has 512gbs of pci-e ssd storage. In my opinion a great option for what this laptop is designed to do. The top of the screen is equipped with a full HD webcam with a built in advance microphone that is able to provide speakers with noise canceling tech. Perfect for those zoom, teams, Webex, chats. Finally, The Zenbook has a 90 Wh battery and is more than sufficient with this efficient laptop to keep you rolling for hours without being plugged in. Battery life all depends on how you use your laptop but I have gone hours completing daily tasks on one charge. All wrapped in only 3.48 pounds and only being 0.7 inches thick.

Worked well for just over 6 months - when the warranty expired. Then constant screen problems. First and last time buying an Asus.

Not great! It took long to start up and it is a very slow computer.

Purchased to replace a lenova yoga. I prefer my lenova. This is heavy and clumsy.

it only has 8 gb of soldered memory it's advertised as 16gb I can see a class action lawsuit the memory as it's soldered can't be upgraded and there's no other slot when you read box it does not say 8gb you have to go to bios I might return it

The computer runs good but is very fragile. My phone broke the screen by barely hitting it. Repairs would cost about the same amount of the laptop.

Laptop is fantastic. Except the battery life is not as good as advertised. The help at store was not great he was clingy and not helpful.

The Asus ZenBook is a true premium laptop with so many premium features, fit into a slim package. This laptop is a hidden gem. The build quality and design of the Asus ZenBook is superb. It has a lightweight aluminum casing, that has a beautiful design etched into it. The computer comes with 2 – USB-C ports, 1 – USB-B port, an HDMI port and a headphone port. The screen is by far the most beautiful screen I’ve ever seen from a laptop, which boasts a 2.5K 120hz OLED touchscreen display, and it look amazing! The laptop also comes with a FHD face cam that’s compatible with face ID (or windows hello). The full-size keyboard is backlit with dimmable LED lights. There is also a nice feature to the touchpad that I have never seen before, which is actually very convenient…If you swipe the top of the touchpad, it turns into a highlighted number pad, this is a very unique and useful feature especially if you work with numbers a lot. When I first used the laptop, I was blown away by how breathtakingly beautiful the display is, everything looks so vibrant and crystal clear, not to mention the deep blacks you get with an OLED display. The new 13th gen Intel i5 processor, makes multi-tasking a breeze. Match that with the 8gb of ddr5 ram and everything ran super smooth without any stuttering. The built-in Harmon Kardon speakers are amazing, they are the cherry on top when matched with the gorgeous OLED display. The sound is very bright and clear, there is a good distinguish between lows and highs, and a decent amount of bass. One of the biggest surprises of the ZenBook, was the battery and how long it lasts on a single charge. I was able to get a full day’s work out of the laptop which was about 9 hours, and I still had battery left. Needless to say, the battery is great! Overall, I am extremely impressed with the Asus ZenBook. It amazes me how they were able to fit so much into a slim package. Everything about this laptop is premium, from the OLED screen, Harmon Kardon speakers, backlit keyboard, the touchpad which turns into a number pad, and the long-lasting battery. This is the perfect work/ entertainment laptop, and I highly recommend this to anyone.

I like this minimalist notebook. The packaging is minimalist, just the notebook and the USB-C power adapter in the box for the most part. The left top corner swipe for calculator using the built in number pad is fun, so is activating and using the number pad by itself by tapping the top right corner. There is not much upgrading for this laptop, it is reported that the 8gb ddr5 memory is soldered onto the board, and no expansion for system memory and there is only one SSD slot with a 512gb drive in there. So to get a bigger SSD drive space, you would need to take the existing one out and clone it to a bigger drive and then expand the bigger drive and put it back in, or just put a bigger one in and start from scratch. I think this is the first new laptop I've acquired in a very long time that I didn't add or tweak the hardware in some way. I like the OLED screen and the HDR capability. The "built in" graphics are pretty darn good for what they are. I'm not sure if the 13th Gen i5 Processor architecture takes any credit for that, but it was playing a heavily modded up Legendary Edition Mass Effect Trilogy and it plays great. It's not a gaming notebook per say, but it can handle some lighter gaming. It handles things pretty well for only having 8gb of system memory, this is a very efficient performer with good battery life. I really recommend this notebook for a daily driver, take with you, it's very light, and thin, fairly powerful, very stable. Easy to hook up to external monitor with the Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports. An elegant weapon for a more civilized age.

This has been a great laptop so far. It is plenty fast to do anything I use short of heavy gaming. It's small and bright and the battery life is great. To start with I like the laptop color and the pattern on the cover. I think it will hold up well to use and possibly even hide some of the nicks and scratches I'm sure it will accumulate. The size is nice and the taller screen is great for productivity. The laptop has an hdmi and powers an external monitor with no problem through that or the usb-c port to an hdmi dock. I was not able to test if it could run 2 external displays at once but I believe the Intel video system can so it should be able to. The screen is bright and precise. It's a good resolution and nice aspect ratio. I'm glad more laptops are coming out that are taller screens. The OLED is awesome for movies or use in darker settings. Not having the whole screen lit really does make it more useable at night or just to enjoy higher contrast in movies. The battery life is great also. I was able to stream a movie (HD) for over 8 hours on 1 charge at full brightness. So downloading a movie and turning off wifi and bluetooth would last even longer. I was very happy with how long this lasted. The one problem I had with this was I'm very used to USB-C charging laptops using any charger. This one is a little more finicky. It would charge from the included charger obviously, but it didn't seem to like my other assorted chargers. It wouldn't charge with my Dell factory charger at all, I have a battery power bank that it would charge sometimes but very slow (slower than the battery bank is capable of charging and does charge my other devices). And the other random PD chargers I had it was hit or miss if they would charge at all, partial speed or full speed. It's not the biggest deal in the work because you can just make sure you get one that works but it was something I haven't had a problem with any other Power Delivery device I've used. Overall this laptop is great. The sound is good, the quality seems solid and the screen is awesome. The little things like the 10 key pad in the track pad is a nice touch once you get used to it. I think this is a nice laptop that is very useable and was well designed.

Be assured you are in for a treat when you see how much customization is available. Rounding out the ZenBook 14 2.8K Laptop for 2023 is the 512GB Gen 4 NVMe SSD for all your storage needs. Read and write speeds are on par with all the latest Gen 4 drives so all of your applications and games are sure to load up fast. I took a little extra time before my review with this Zenbook, as I wanted to be sure to put it through as many different paces as I could. The OLED display is truly incredible in pretty much every situation. The color accuracy is perfection and the Pantone certification is no surprise. There were a few situations where I would like to have had a larger screen, but that would be a different computer... Overall, performance was excellent. Between the great performance and display, I felt it deserved 5 stars. If I could take anything off (a half-star), it would be for the limitations of the RAM to 8GB with no way to upgrade other than purchasing a different model. I feel that if it had even 16GB, it would make it near perfect as a 'daily driver' with very few limitations. I like the number of USB ports, especially since the majority are USB-C. I did have devices that required a cable upgrade or USB adapter. That's no big deal, and two of the three seemed to work better on USB-C anyway. I tried Office applications, a few games, some development and coding, Minecraft and Server adjustment, watching movies, and general internet surfing with a whole bunch of windows open. While the more I had running the more power it used and the more memory swapping it started doing, it still didn't fail and it adapted well. The battery is a little better than I expected, especially with all the stuff I keep open. I would recommend to a friend, but may advise them to consider the same model with more memory.

It's a crap, my wife used it very lightly only for half a year and the screen stops turning on after startup... I guess ASUS quality control is a big issue
