The volume does not go all the way down. Turn it down, and when it receives a call, the volume automatically turns up. How can a person sleep when the volume goes up?

I was disappointed with this answering machine. I had read a few dozen reviews which stated it was a great value but the sound quality from both my recorded outgoing message and the recorded incoming calls was awful, and it's no exaggeration to say I couldn't understand a word of either when I played-back. It was so bad that the outgoing message sounded like I recorded it with my head in an empty 5-gallon bucket. Not what I was looking for at all. The good news is that BB took it back and refunded my money on the spot, no questions asked. As it should be.

if you get a call that oscillates at all it blows the prosser

This product is easy to use but sound quality is poor.

answering machine has some annoyances such as caller phone number being played too fast to recognize and being requested to program with current year but date isn’t provided on message playback

The Good: Smaller foot print than older model. The bad: Poor speaker quality making it hard to understand messages. Can't see from a distance if you have messages because blinking light is inset into case. Would have been better if red on/off button also blinked so you could see it from across the room. Had to put felt pads on feet because rubber used marred our soapstone counter. Disappointed.

I bought this to announce business changes due to Covid-19. No way to just play an announcement. It MUST take a message, assuming there's enough space. It there isn't it just quits answering. The "messages" it recorded were all hangups, but when it reaches a certain number it just quits. You have to play EVERY SINGLE MESSAGE before it can be erased. No "erase all messages" function. Stupid design.

I will see how it works when I finally hook it up soon

Needed a new answering machine....this is not quite like the old one I had but it is a good one.

not happy with product . returned product to store

Stopped working after one week. Couldn’t get any of the buttons to work, although on switch was lit up. Tried unplugging it several times to see if I could reboot. Nothing worked. I do not recommend this answering machine!!

Two of these have stopped working. They have been on protected power. Attempts to reset to factory don’t help. Power seems to on but no response to any input. 3 strikes and you’re out.

I bought answering machine and it is not working.best buy would not help me set it up.i am almost blind.there is static on phone and no one can leave message.i am on fixed income.cannot pay 99.00 for help from best buy,just six miles from store.YOU ARE NOT BEST BUY.CATHERINE BLANKENSHIP
