Personally for me I multitask so for me, it is so much easier to listen to messages at the push of a button, then to fuss with passwords and punching in a number just to delete. love love

On opening, the unit is well built and rugged construction. It was easy to set up with clear instructions. It has operated without issue for several months now. Price was great. Very happy and I recommend it.

This unit was purchased to replace an older unit that had quit working. The new unit is much more efficient and easier to use. To date we are very happy with our selection of the new answering machine.

Nice little machine and very easy to set up. We mostly use this for screening the many robocalls coming in on our land-line, but also for a missed call now and then. Works very well so far and takes up only a little space on the counter.

Good quality answering machine for audio quality coming from the built-in speaker I would recommend this to anybody who had a tight budget but if they had enough money I would suggest going to something a little better quality

Finally had enough of the harassing calls and robo calls. They can talk to the machine. The number of calls has been cut in half after just 3 weeks. Phone only rings 3 or 4 times a day instead of 8 or more times. Hopefully in time I will only get legitamate calls for me. So far they just hang up.

This item was purchased for my elderly mother who is used to certain brands. It is dependable, simple to operate and the price was excellent! Needless to say, Mom was very pleased.

This answering machine was purchased to be used by a senior living in an independent senior living apartment complex. So it needed to be uncomplicated and easy to use. So far it has worked perfectly.

We have had this answering machine since 8/20/21 and so far so good. Works as intended and has 1 hour of recording time. This was offered at a good price so we figured why not give it a try.

Performs task I want, just take a message. I like the little blinking numbers when there are messages. I like being able to hear who is calling before I answer the phone. I did not want a machine attached to a phone nor one that was programmed to perform tasks I absolutely never want. It is replacing a machine I had for 30 years that was very reliable. I hope this will last beyond its warranty!

A lot of people don't use answering machines any longer and I was pleased to find one that was in stock, reasonably priced and it turned out that it was just plain easy to set up.

I am happy with the purchase of 1740 AT&T answering machine and would recommend it to other buyers as a well. it is reasonably priced and is a good buy.

The AT&T is a compact easy to use and easy to set up answering machine. It is an excellent alternative to buying a phone system and comes with a complement of options.

Solid machine for the money. Bought it for my Mother-in-Law and the only problem she has is she has trouble reading “play” because it is written in silver.
