We needed a new answering machine. Large numbers on the handset are great for me. Very happy with this purchase.
I would recommend this to a friend

I LOVE the BLOCK feature on these phones and the backlit numbers is great. Easy set up except for putting in contacts always a pain no matter what phone you get except for cell phones. I would recommend these At&T phones

Old Ma Bell is still at it. Solid phones with easy menu selections and audio assisted setup. Easy as pie. Call blocking feature works well too! That's the feature appreciated most.

I still use a landline (in addition to a mobile) and this is the best phone I have had of this type. A lot of value and quality at a low price. I found out about this phone from the New York Times Wirecutter site.

When our home upgraded to FIOS for internet service, the landline which we had with the internet provider was upgraded to digital. Consequently, our answering machine needed to be replaced. Because we had an AT&T set we had been happy with for more than a decade, we chose the newest version. So far, so good. We have only had it for a few weeks. We are getting used to all the features it provides, including the answering message. In certain lights, we need to get real close to read the buttons and screen on the main unit.

Having my own AT&T phone system, when my friend in Memory Care needed a simple, straight forward land phone to replace a Mobile unit she can no longer handle -- I decided this was the answer. It has proved to be true in the days since I gave it to her for Christmas. Good choice, good performance, the answer to the need.
