So far it's working pretty well, one star off because of low volume.

Just your basic home phone with answering machine. The menu system is not quite intuitive as I was expecting. I was particularly interested in their “smart call blocker” because of the large number of spam calls I received. Unfortunately setting this up takes way too much work. The block number list should be integrated with the list of previous call numbers but isn’t. The easiest option called “screen unknown” didn’t work plus it should allow callers who verify to be real to always be allowed through.

These are great phones for the price. My only complaint is that ,at times,it seems to drop the connection to the base even though I am not that far away from it.
If you want a phone that works this isn't for you.

I bought this phone as a replacement for an older version of the AT&T Dect 6.0. The old one was great. This is beyond awful. It took forever to turn off call blocker since it blocked every call even those in my directory. I tried calling it from another one of my phones to see if I could get through...it blocked that too. I have it setup to answer calls but it hasn't recorded a single message not even the one I tried to leave.
I spent 2 hrs on chat with AT&T support (they need to rename it since they are completely clueless). I was bounced to 10 different techs who had no idea how to fix the issues. I finally spoke with Best Buy support and after trying a few different fixes they concluded I should return it. Consider it DONE!!
