I needed a land line and black was the color the price for this was awesome and it fits in with my kitchen decor

i recommend for inexpensive, corded secondary phone. We use it in our basement, by my PC. Works just fine and good for what we need.

In case of power outage, I think everyone with landline service should have a phone that requires no electricity. This one fits the bill and at a great price.

This would be a great phone if you could hear better on it. Bought it for my aunt and she couldn't hear on it and she had the volume turned up all the way.

Numbers don't light up well and are not placed in the standard old placement which makes dialing a bit difficult due to muscle memory.
