    A phone is a phone. I have always bought AT&T landline phones, but I can't believe this one does not have a voice mail indicator so that you know someone has left a message. Now I have to actually pick up the phone and listen for a beep, beep in order to know. What year is this??? Really... I would only recommend this phone for someone not having voice mail.

    My last landline was the same brand as this one so I decided to upgrade since the previous one finally died. If this one holds up as long as the old one did it will be a great purchase last one went on for over 8 years. One difference I like with this new model is the numbers are larger and it was one of the only few that didn't have a voicemail service added to it.

    I like it. It works a lot better than the horrible phone it replaced - a VTech model. They are still much lighter than the Uniden that I had for 20+ years. Does what it is supposed to.
