Bought this after reading the VERY misleading description. The way I read it is that you’re purchasing new software that comes with a year of updates. Not what you’re buying. This is actually an upgrade to Pro Tools Ultimate, and this cannot be used if you don’t have the initial license, which I guess is the $2600 version. But NO ONE at Best Buy can give you any info about any of the Pro Tools products. Bought this for my husband as a Christmas gift, and Best Buy won’t allow me to return even though it is completely useless. $650 (including tax) flushed down the toilet. Not happy at all!
