I have a 2009 Audi A3. When I first opened the package and had the car apart, I did what 98% of the people (who have done car radio installs) would do which is match all wires up color for color install and call it a day. When I did it that way my speakers in the back were low and the fader control would not increase the volume if I shifted to the back. I was ALL OVER the internet trying to figure out a solution to what seemed like a common problem with an Audi. A week later, I had a beer, then I followed the instructions in the manual which you need to read carefully in order to get the correct signal to the factory amp. Thankfully after reviewing it a few times I got all speakers working properly with fade control and no additional wiring or MacGyvering necessary. I bought the additional steering wheel control(ASWC1 not installed yet) but it just plugs into this harness. If you have an Audi, you will be searching the internet high and low for ways to fix the low level in the back speakers. You need to follow the directions and use the rear out connections if your aftermarket deck has them.
