Great option to add a second monitor

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently updated to a new MacBook Pro and added a DisplayLink dock to expand my USB ports and support the two monitors that I had been using with the previous MacBook Pro. I had been using a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI cable and a USB to HDMI cable. Turns out the DisplayLink hub does not support clamshell mode, and will not play HDCP video. A quick trip into town and back with this cable. Literals just plug in and go.

Not exactly what I wanted but works well

I thought this product would transfer both the video and audio to the TV since it is an HDMI connection but it's still only the video.... It works well but doesn't do what I expected it to do.
