Must have for travelers

I have also used it on phones, must have for easy connection and allows you to use hotel TVs when traveling.

USB C to an HDMI. Connected it and it worked with no issues. Perfect item, and especially for the price. It has a second USB C connection, but no other. Wish it did have other USB connections, especially with a chromebook. But does what I needed it for...a monitor

It works but requires human interaction

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I gave 5 stars, although at times, I have to unplug the adapter and replug it Into the Mac Pro m3 laptop, in order for the website to transmit onto my tv screen. When this occurs, the tv only displays the laptop background screen, not the website that the laptop is actually connected to. Unplug adapter from laptop and replug adapter, then the website is displayed onto tv screen???

This device updates our lightening to HDMI adapter. It works great and supports device charging while displaying over HDMI.

I have had zero problems so far and I am very happy with the price and the ability to use another screen so easily. Perfect for work when you need to write in front of a class, like me, or school work!

The only issue I had was the little trick about the charging cable. The adapter seems to work without it, and the phone detects the adapter right away. The phone went into Samsung Dex mode so I could use the TV screen and phone more like a PC and a mouse. However when I tried to view a video on Netflix or Amazon, it would only work for a a few seconds and then quit with some error. Turns out, once I plugged in the power cord to the Adapter, all the errors stopped and it works great. So that power input is not just to charge your phone. It makes the adapter work properly as well.
