Easily streamed video from my phone using this adapter/converter. Very self-explanatory and affordable. Overall, great value for the money paid.

Reliable and Cheap

A friend of mine tried multiple adapters with nothing working until she used mine, so if cheaper ones don't work for you this is a pretty good one while remaining affordable. No delays in the display either. I like it a lot.

Easy way to transfer to tv and charge

Run the HDMI cord from your TV to the HDMI opening in the adapter, then attach the other end of the adapter to your device. Bought it for streaming Eventive programs (many programs on the Eventive app don’t let you stream unless you are signed in from your Apple device). However, I discovered that when other apps on my Roku start buffering -Amazon Prime at 9 pm, for example - this cable connection eliminates the problem. Apple and Belkin products seem to work well together. This Belkin adapter supports 4K resolution at 60Hz.

This also allows you to connect USB devices to USB Computers. I have used this primarily to direct video from my MacBook Pro to a TV with HDMI when AirPlay does not exist. Mainly for hotel rooms and other locations when your favorite channel or streaming service is not on the TV. Allows me to watch my favorite MLB streaming games while traveling and in hotels. Super simple to use, plug and play.

We didn't realize the new laptops only had USB-C connectors for display. On top of that, the USB-C port on the laptop is also used as the input power for the laptop. This little guy solved all of the problems. The USB-C cord of the Belkin connects to the laptop. Then we connected an HDMI cable from the Belkin to the monitor. The laptop power adapter from the wall goes into the USB-C of the Belkin. Now the laptop stays charged and can display onto a monitor with HDMI all from a single USB-C port! Pretty sweet.
