Newer HP laptop

Mini dvi compatibility, but not thunderbolt

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This worked nicely with my 2009 Mac Pro’s mini dvi port, I did not have any luck with my 2012 MacBook Pro thunderbolt port. There were rumors of backward compatibility, but not with this unfortunately. Still a solid piece of hardware, just not compatible with thunderbolt ports. I would give a 5 star if it was backwards compatible.
