    Even though I absolutely love these, the inside connecting cable was quickly destroyed by my usage im guessing. It’s the second yeti microphone that has done this to me.

    overall this mic is a very good condenser microphone on a pc with the right settings but I returned mine because I was looking for a mic for console streaming and you can’t really change any of the software on the PlayStation and the default settings on the mic aren’t the best and the mic is really sensitive so it picks up a lot of background noise, you can’t speak too loudly when you’re close to the mic because it cracks and pops (clips) even with the gain set to the lowest and the lowest microphone setting on PlayStation is still clips when speak to close to the mic. if you’re planning on getting a mic for the PlayStation 5 I would recommend getting a dynamic mic.

    USB cord poor quality

    I'm not an expert. I purchased this to start a podcast, but didn't want to spend a lot of money. The mic itself is solid and heavy, all metal. The issue is the USB cord. After testing the mic only once, the connection to the mic on the USB cord bent. There was no pressure put on the cord.

    Less than 2 years of having the microphone it failed and I had to buy a replacement. My YETI was a joy while it was working, it is mounted on a shock stand and didn't move much if any in the past (almost) 2 years. Then one day my voice became distorted to others on the receiving end of my calls (ring central, zoom, google meetings, etc..) and I couldn't get it to work after trying all the online help suggestions. This is unfortunate because it doesn't have any moving part, was being held securely for the entire time (not sat on a desktop), and not abused. Not sure what went wrong but it did and had to replace it. For that I cannot recommend - otherwise when working properly it is a great mic.

    I’ve given yeti a fair shot for having this mic for 4 months and can write an honest review of my experience. For someone who lounges around and talks with people online or likes to podcast look no further than the blue yeti. A microphone that has great quality and can pick up sound from a great range. However this is where I must end the positives about this product. It’s over sensitivity is a major flaw for gamers. Like myself who prides on his mechanical keyboard this mic will literally pick up every click and clack from your computer as well as unnecessary background noise. However if you lower the sensitive of the mic then the microphone just ceases to work. It’ll cut in and out and just create a miserable experience. For you who are looking to podcast look no further, for those of you about to game look elsewhere.

    Disappointed from Original Batch to new model.

    Kept disconnecting on its own. Tried 2 models cause I thought I had a faulty one. Did the same thing. Works well... when it works.

    Don't get me wrong, sound quality is acceptable, but for the price, I'd rethink this, and and go with a Snowball. Now, the main problem is the stand SUCKS. It's terrible, it doesn't even hold the mic that well. It's running off a terrible MiniUSB cable, which always gets unplugged, and the stand, ONCE AGAIN, breaks the cord, to the the point where I had to get a new cord after 3 months of use. (I bought this August 15, 2017.) Well, if you have alot of cords, it may be fine. But, you need to get up close for it to sound good, and the modes are just confusing. From long-distance, it sounds like your using 50 cent knockoffs of Apple Earplugs. It's impossible to get the stand fixed, if it breaks, or comes loose. And last off all, the thing distorts ALOT, even with a filter.

    Decent sound quality, poor connectivity

    When the mic works, it works well. Decent sound quality, and plug and play over USB - however the ancient Mini USB connection is very loose, and the mic disconnects if I bump my desk at all, even when mounted to an arm. It seems like sometimes itll reconnect to power, but not data, so the mic never reconnects in Windows until i unplug and plug it back in. Returning after two weeks.

    Good mic, but fragile USB connector

    This mic is good at sound reproduction, but I wouldn't buy it again: 1. For spoken word recordings, or recording outside of a studio environment, a dynamic mic works better. This is a condensor mic. You can do a few searches on "dynamic vs condensor mic" and see if dynamic vs condensor is best for you. 2. The USB connector is very fragile and broke after six months. YouTube has plenty of helpful videos showing you how to replace the USB connector if it breaks, but I'd rather get a mic that didn't break in the first place.

    Quality, except for the USB port

    Heavy and sturdy and metal, but unfortunately it stopped working as of May 2021, and I purchased in December for 2018. Apparently the USB port isn't as sturdy as the rest of the mic and people have problems with it. I believe this is what is happening to mine as I just get static and feedback and Charlie Brown teacher voice when trying to use it. My warranty is done after 2 years so I tried to follow online videos on how to open it up and tighten the port, but that only worked for a few minutes. Best Buy said they can't really do anything, so I went with a different brand this time, as the Blue Yeti's are a bit expensive for what you are getting.

    My mic after a while just will not turn on anymore and isn't getting power for some reason. So now unless I buy a new one or a new port and a soder kit it has to just sit here. Not exactly sure how it happened, the mic sounded good for the short while it worked though.

    I spent my 140 dollars to purchase this microphone but it produce robotic sound and can't fix. Even I purchased a different USB cable and tried it but something. I try to contact best buy for the issue still I couldn't. I never regret like this in my purchase from Best Buy. I am a student and because of Covid-19 I am not working right now and it give me additional hardship because I do not have money to purchase other; so it is really difficult for me to spent this much for not working mic. Now I stop working what I planned because of it. I wish Best Buy give me refund.

    I hate this thing. Not user friendly. Can’t get it to sound right no matter what I do. Have watched countless YouTube videos with no luck. Wish I just stuck with my headset mic as it sounds better. Wish I never bought it. Just an expensive piece of decor. Trying to get it to work with obs feels hopeless.

    I was unable to synch this mic with my iMac. I contact apple and they could on get one portion of the mic working at a time. It became frustrating. You would think that having professional help the mic might work, however it did not. I tried a couple of times with apple agent supporter but each time only one portion of the mic would respond and that is one could hear me loud and clear but I could not hear any response.

      Hello, I am sorry to hear about the issues you are experiencing with the microphone. You will not hear anyone from the microphone unless you have headphones plugged into the bottom of the microphone. Then you will need to make sure the headphone volume is turned up and that it is selected as your audio in source on the computer. I hope this helps!     It's a decent microphone but the competitors are miles above it and priced about the same. I also find it sketchy that logitech is hiding that it's one of their products but that is a minor thing.

    I bought an open box mic and i thought it worked fine till i heard it the mic keeps cutting out and there’s a weird grinding sound when I talk im pretty upset about the purchase and didn’t even realize until after the time i could return it.

    Way over priced for this mic. The software for the mic is trash. Does not work well with OBS or many other streaming programs. It is a good back up mic if you can find one cheap.
