Love the clean slick lines and the fact that it matches all my other Bosch products. The two LED lights illuminate the entire work surface and the multi-speed fan is very powerful. If you hold a piece of paper towel above the stove top, it sucks it up against the fan grill. Love it all.

Purchased to replace a three year old Kenmore range hood. It never worked well. I am not brand loyal. I look for features and function. I have been using this hood for 2 weeks. I searched for a hood that would install in the footprint (or close to) of the previous range hood. I had the appliance installed by Best Buy. The hood is a simple design with 400 CFM. The filters can be cleaned and reused. I put in 2 LED light bulbs(no bulbs included). I now have good lighting to range top. My kitchen is part of a Great Room with a TV. The hood is not overly loud on the high speed. I can lower the fan speed if I need to and have good function. Mine vents to the back. The filters are over more of the range surface so I see I am getting better removal of smoke, steam from cooking. When looking for a range hood I ran into stores that would only install if what you ordered was an exact fit as they couldn't do metal work should you need to change the length of ducting in the back of the hood. I couldn't get a guarantee the install would be complete. Best Buy tech was able to install the range hood without fuss, but we also picked one that was close in size to the one we replaced. If you have tile behind your range top make sure the hood comes below the tile line.
