    everything youd expect from a good fax machine 15 years ago. Won't hook up to the PC to receive faxes and a little struggling to set up confirmation pages but all in all good

    I bought this one for one friend who runs her business at home. This all in one printer can do everything for her. She told me that the copier is very fast. It is just what she need for her business.

    Purchased this fax machine to replace an old one we had at the office. You would think set up would be easy - Plug in the old phone line and you are ready to go. Wrong. The machine can send faxes but I cannot receive any from outside the building. Our phone company came in to check the lines and all was okay. Brother support was rather comical and no help at all. When I called, I was told that I could not receive faxes because I was on the phone. They then called me on my cell and suprise, I still could not receive faxes. I was then asked if anyone else was on the phone. After constantly explaining that the old machine was on this same line and worked fine till it totally gave out, I was asked if there was anything else they could help me with. I would never purchase another Brother product again.

    easy to set up and use. makes fast clear copies. so glad I got rid of my ink jet monster with its insatiable thirst for ink.

    So far it works very well, and have been very happy with it. The only downside is you have to feed the copier, but we have the old brother fax copier that allows us to lay paper (or book pages flat for copying). I also have an older laptop using Windows 7 so I had to download the driver from the brothers website.
