Brother makes an excellent printer. This printer is compact enough to not take up your entire desktop and is quiet enough to work right next to you. I've had excellent experiences over the years with other Brother printers, but I purchased this model because of the affordable toner and how readily available it is at different stores. Unlike HP, the refills for the ink won't break you and this one will last for quite a bit longer.

I purchased this printer at the beginning of 2015 and I am pleased with the performance that this puts out. I need to print out my work and don't need color for these forms. Hasn't jammed or lost print as of yet, thanks!

I purchased this printer to replace an older multifunction printer in a home office. Set up as a wireless network printer was easy. I can print from the Windows desktop in the office as well as my Android phone. Duplex printing is a useful paper saver I use often. The only negative I see is it is a bit noisier than the old printer, but not to a level that is bothersome. I give it 5 stars for being as good as the other Brother printers I have owned.

We have been over using this brother printer for a year plus. Needless to say it was time to replace it. But if you use printers like I use printers this lasted long, and never had any issues.

this wireless printer is terrific and the Brother support for installation was the best. I had a bit of trouble getting it to print wireless but that was fixed quickly with contact to Brother

I was tired of replacing ink cartridges after only printing a few pages. This unit hooked up easily (be sure to read directions about one button setup) and has worked flawlessly since.

I use this with my MacBook, iPad and iPhone. Install the CD will save you time figuring put how to connect the printer to the home wifi. Prints double sided.

Although I had looked it up, I missed the fact that it does duplex printing with out having to manually flip and refeed pages. I was surprised and impressed on first use.Total bonu!!

this printer is very reliable. I own a small business and have had other printers. This one always works and the cartridge refills work seemlessly. I now have 3 of these printers at different locations.

The set-up was extremely easy and very quick. I believe it took me less than 10 minutes. The quality of print-outs are very good and printing is very fast. I am very satisfied given the price of the device

I love this printer. It prints fast and very clear. By using a laser printer with the cartridge you can print a lot more sheets and you don't have to worry about all the ink colors like the ink jet.

We bought it recently and it has been working well. Even though we do not use it often, is working ok. We have not changed the ink, so we cannot say to much about this printer at this moment. I only can say that the price is quite good.

Good printer at a good price. I bought the printer for my home network. Wireless set up was quck and easy for three computers and a smartphone. Print quality is good. I'm pleased with the purchase.

It took hours for the installation to get the printer to run on wifi. But once I got it up and running is it a great printer. NOTE: go on line and look for a driver to download.

Do not need a scanner, don not need color, I need reliable printing for my home office while not having ink dry out as I rarely print. This works perfectly, if fast and has great print quality.

I was looking for a simple, workhorse printer that fit nicely in reach on my desk that wasn't an ink hog, and this printer did the trick.

Can't beat the quality for the price. This printer was easy to setup straight out of the box and I had no trouble hooking it up to our network by following instructions. The only negative thing I can say about this printer is that it makes a high pitch hum when on and where it sits in my home office, it is a little irritating. I just leave it off until I need to print as we don't print at home often. Caught this printer on sale, needed to purchase a new one and couldn't pass up the deal!
