Daughter is in college and we were buying ink cartridges for her inkjet monthly. The half cartridge that comes with this is good for 700 pages, so the price alone takes care of the cartridges.

Good laser printer for those who have to print large volumes and don't want to spend a ton on ink. Good for students, compact size fits in small rooms easily.

I love this printer. The toner cartridge lasts a long time even for our small business. It prints cleanly and clearly and is very fast. Shopped around for pricing and couldn't beat Best Buy.

I had a laser printer but wanted a wireless one. This printer is efficient and works well. I like the double-sided print and the fact that I do not have to deal with ink cartridges

I like the 2-sided copies and the high capacity enclosed paper tray. It's kind of amusing when it begins to print, you hear the relay click, the fan spin up and and several seconds later it is cranking out pages. With apologies to fact based decision makers, the printer just "feels" solid as a rock. I've only changed out the original low capacity toner cartridge. It appears that the printer decides on its own when it is out of toner. You get warnings for awhile, then it just quits mid job. There is no shaking the cartridge to eek out the last few pages. Not necessarily an issue; just what it does. I like it better then the lightweight HP laser jet it replaced.

This printer was reasonably priced and yet had great quality output. The configuration process wasn't particularly straightforward. Accidentally printed the configuration several times by mistake. Once configured it works great.

I purchased this printer to be able to print while at our vacation home. No worry about plugged nozzles, etc. At this point I could not be more pleased. Compact and reliable. A good purchase.

I love this printer. It never lets me down. I only wish I had gotten color as well as black-and-white. Otherwise this is the best printer I’ve ever had. Hands-down.

Great printer there were no issues with mac pro being able to print

Excellent machine purchased a month ago and have had not problems. Wish I had gotten this a long time ago to save money on inkjet ink. The wireless feature is really handy for the family.

We have our normal canon Pixma printer for our day to day printing but my wife needed a laser printer to heat foil lettering for card making . For the price and convenience of having a laser jet at home this is a great buy.

I purchase one of these to replace a report printer at a manufacturing plant that prints every 15 minutes. So far we haven't had any issues with speed or quality and have purchased 2 more.

Great price on a sturdy black & white printer that easily handles large jobs. We love the wireless newtwork capability, which allows us to print from both laptops from anywhere in the house.

Set-up was easy, copies are clear and fast. If you do not care about color printing or making copies this compact, inexpensive laser printer is great.

I purchased this for business use and seems to work well. I wish double sided printing was easier but for the money it works fine. I would recommend for medium speed, medium duty work.

It was a last minute purchase and it always delivers like it should. Plug and play was a breeze, I have nothing more to say,really,other than Brother is a top quality manufacturer.
