It’s a great printer with good quality. It is a bit slow when printing. Also the WiFi signal seems to go away after one printing session. Maybe I’m not printer savvy but it’s an annoyance to have to reset it every time.

I want to love this printer and for most uses it works well. The ink lasts a long time, double-sided printing is easy and not too slow, and the wireless printing works great. However! I need to do a lot of mailings which requires either printing individual envelopes or sheets of labels to be addressed. The manual sheet feed takes only 1 Piece of paper or envelope at a time. They can’t be stacked and fed through automatically. That is a real pain and had I known that I would not have purchased this model.

The printer set up fairly quickly. It is my first Brother printer so I was not sure how well the setup would go with all my HP products. The main tipping point was the INK tastic technology. And the 3 sets of cartridges that came with the printer. The cost of replacement ink for my HP and Epson printers really started to bother me - replacing all the inks with backup cartridges was costing me more than a new printer. And I print quite a lot. So far so good with the Brother. I did not want an all-in-one, but that is all that you seem to be able to buy now. I just wanted a good printer. It is too early to tell how well the ink-tastic technology will work in the long term, but I am hopeful. I will append later as I gain more experience with this model.

We have used Brother MFC printers for years. In Ethernet they have always been rock solid. On wifi the results have been mixed. While we have set it up easily, once the printer goes a day without use, it can't be used unless you power cycle the printer - not very useful.

This printer was easy to setup and works just fine. It has a nice small footprint. I like the software that runs this printer as it makes scanning documents very easy.

I've had this printer for about a month and am very happy with it. Print speed and quality is good for average home use and for school projects. I am anxious to see if the ink lasts as projected with average use.

This is a great all in one. Does what is advertised for sure without a doubt. Hooking up to my MAC was not an issue like some other printers I have had. My only gripe is that the photo quality is not as good as the HP I replaced. NOTE: I will NEVER buy another HP product...no service options to fix one that wasn't even 3 years old. Our only option was to replace a print head for $70 (which we did and didn't work) or to buy a replacement product. Alas, this was a solid alternative and for the price, the year long supply of ink in the box was worth the investment. For my office at home, great add. For my wife's scrap booking and crafting projects...not so much...the color quality is not nearly as accurate as we would have hoped for.

I’ve had Brother printers at work but this is my first for home. Build quality is OK but not great. At the price it is a great value. Print quality is good and network setup was easy.

I agree with most of the reviews. It's quality and speed are good. Mildly disappointed that the document handler will double side copy ok but won't for scanning. Scans very fast but printing is a little slow.

This printer has the longest lasting ink of any printer we have ever owned. The only thing we do not like is the flap where the paper comes out is very weak and does not stay in well.

Saw the Brother Printer Advertised after my Epson failed after 5 years. Nice printer/scanner.Print quality is excellent and the inclusion of 3 years of ink make it a great deal

Easy Install and startup. I use my wi-fi and setting up was quick. Print quality is great! Only minor drawback is the paper catcher is flimsy as others have commented. But, not a big deal to me.

Purchased the printer for home use and have greatly loved it. Decided to purchase the Brother after having one at work and we never had a problem with it.

It is a good printer. The print quality is somewhat better but it is good for its price. the lcd screen that it brings is not the best but it fulfills its function.
