This is the 2nd refrigerator they have delivered to me, 1st one had a Door Gasket that would not seal and the door was not closing properly. Now the 2nd refrigerator was delivered and it all looked fine, however after I let it cool down and went to put food in the freezer area, when I opened the freezer door I heard a popping noise and then a large metal rod and spool on each end fell out of the back of the bin area.
Oh and the ice maker is not working. I am so irritated as I ordered my refrigerator way back in January and did not get the 1st one until July 30th and then the 2nd one delivered on August 8th and I am still here with a broken refrigerator. What a cheaply made product, GE should be ashamed of the quality of their CAFE line appliances as they are more expensive but in my opinion now that I have the Stove, Dishwasher and Refrigerator I wish I had stayed with Bosch or Samsung.....cheap quality appliances is what they are.

I immediately didn’t care for this refrigerator when it was delivered. It isn’t fingerprint proof so it immediately looked dirty, the plastic film it arrived wrapped in was embedded in every seam and took hours to remove most of (I wasn’t able to remove all of it), plus it just seems cheap. I swapped it out for a comparably priced LG and couldn’t be happier.

The ice maker shoot grey ice for days, the stainless steel was with spots the second I took the plastics, lots of shelf’s on door that make no sense and not useful. I regretted the minute I saw the ice maker, even now the Ice is clear I fear to use it

We bought new GE Cafe appliances to complete a major remodel. This refrigerator, although nicely styled, has never worked correctly. The freezer door does not close properly and ice builds up along the right and bottom of the freezer door making operation of the door worse. Chunks of ice and water are constantly on the floor. I have made over 13 calls for service and service has been here 5 times. Service calls have been rescheduled 4 times. Each time they come I have to unload the freezer. Each time they reschedule I have to rearrange my schedule. This has gone on for 7 months and they have been unable to fix the unit and refuse to replace it. I expected much more from one of GE's high-end lines.
