My wife has used the camera non stop it takes a great picture and is very user friendly.

Glad I bought it. Have had it for about 6 months. Photo coloring is spot on, resolution is professional grade and video is super crisp (used it to shoot a music video). Holded off buying the 5D Mrk II because of price and bought the 50D...I should've spent the extra money back then & bought the 5D. It's worth it.

Instantaneous focus. It's nice. And more options and settings than anyone other than a real, dedicated pro' photographer could ever work out or use. Have to say though, I get as good (sometimes better) shots with my Canon 6D. Maybe it's the sensor on the 6D. I've been told by pro's that the sensor on the 6D is a tad bit better sensor than the 5D. The 5D is a great unit, but I'm using my 6D more often. If you're an intermediate photographer and wanting to get the camera of your dreams, I'd say buy a 6D versus the 5D. You won't lose anything in the captures you've always wanted. I haven't seen any increased quality of pictures in the 5D over the 6D. You and your friends will be impressed with your work with the 6D. I don't see where the 5D is so much better than the 6D for the $'s spent. Personal opinion, you understand. I'm thinking of going to the 3K-4k Nikon. I like the increased pixels. Hope this helps. Use your best judgement. You'll be happy either way. The help I received from the BestBuy camera guy was great. I had an Canon 7D and upgrade to 5D Mark III as i primarily shoot landscapes (looking for an full frame). It's a little heavier than the 7D but it worth this cost. Having two separate cards is good as I can write RAW and JPG at the same time and use the JPG for early pushing when I'm traveling.

I can't say anything that hasn't already been said about the Canon 5D MK III. It is an EXCELLENT CAMERA!!! It takes amazing photos and can be used for Sports, Weddings, Live Events, and for Videography. I wanted this camera so badly that I got a credit card to pay for it. I don't regret it at all! EXCELLENT CAMERA!!!

Prior to the purchase of the Canon 5 III I was using the Canon 50D. The new camera is a large step up from the 50D. I truly enjoyed using the 50D so I know that I will really have fun with the 5 III. Now to work on upgrading my photography skills!

great camera for serious amateur and professionals. built tough and weather protected camera, 5d is a complete camera with a nice price tag. the body is made of alloy metal which it can take torture in the field.

The quality of pictures are great. High range of ISO is handle for low night. It has very low noise at high ISO.

Awesome camera! If your looking for the best dslr camera for video this is the one! I spent months doing my research trying to find the best camera for video many people told me to settle for the canon 6d or the 7d that there's wasn't much difference but I'm glad I didn't listen to them cause when I compare my 5d mark iii to their 6 or 7d there is no competition! Not even close! Those same people are asking me to lend them my camera! GO BUY IT!!!!!!

Excellent camera with great features. Will be shooting many different videos and this camera and lense are very capable of handling all of it.

My son is interested in photography and it didn't take him long to learn how to use this.

I bought this camera thinking that i would have a hard time learning the controls but after some learning in the internet and the owners manual I figured it out and the canera takes exelent pictures my only complaint is that it doesn't use a touch screen wish would make life a lot easier but overall is an amazing camera

Great step up from my previous eos 7d canon camera. Fast and sharp images that can be enlarged without losing any details.

After using a crop sensor for a while, I wanted a full frame sensor. This camera was an easy choice since I already had the Canon 7D Mark II and the layout was similar. I would recommend it to anyone who has some knowledge of cameras or is willing to learn to use manual settings. You won't be sorry. Also, since the new version of this camera is coming out, the price should be lowering!

This camera is for professional users.it takes great pictures with such clarity.

Upgraded from the original 5D. Tons of added features and the L - series lens that is included was an added value !
