So I upgraded from a T3i. I was waiting until the T8i but I was following the rumors and saw the one about a newly designed 32.5mp sensor and from that moment I just knew whatever camera that sensor was going in was the one I needed to own. Turned out to be the 90 freakin D! And let me tell you, the difference was immediately noticable. Despite the conventional wisdom about high res sensors, this one actually performs pretty well in low light, and has a good dynamic range. Burst is nice and fast at 10fps (11fps live view) 4k NO CROP!!!, FHD 120fps, and with the firmware update they did add 24fps for FHD and 4k. Bluetooth and wifi, on camera raw editing, I seen some reviews that say no focus peaking so let me clear that up. IT HAS FOCUS PEAKING. Lots of various tweaks and settings not available on the rebel line, rear wheel, joystick, top lcd (dont know how I ever got by without that).
Now onto the critiques:
The bluetooth/wifi is good but not great. Could have greatly benefited from 5ghz rather than 2.4. Also the canon camera connect app is average at best. Could really use a usb hard wire function.
The onboarding mic is TRASH. But that's pretty much the case with most DSLRs so not points deducted.
No audio or autofocus in FHD 120fps. Maybe in a future firmware update.
And one last thing. This camera has quite a learning curve. This is mostly due to the high res sensor out resolving many of the older/entry level lenses. There are a ton of good resources out there to help with this. A good starting point is a youtuber by the name of michael the maven. He addresses this exact issue all the time.

Absolutely The Best Vlogging Camera From Canon

Let me start off by saying the Canon G7 X Mark III could have been amazing but was crippled with bad old style focus system and thermals. The Canon EOS 90d, takes the genes from the older brother and ran with it to the store and won the heart of all the girls. The camera features an amazing and incredible auto focus system with great eye focus that cans see through sun glasses. Additionally, we love how it still has a headphone jack for audio monitoring and microphone port with hot shoe for it. Finally battery life is amazing and even better than the 80d while using same battery.
We bought this camera for Our Micro Family vlog and highly recommend you check this out https://youtu.be/Gr4XHK70JTs/

I bought this for my daughter. She has been using another Canon camera for several years to further develop her photography skills and knowledge of the equipment. I read the reviews and listened to her explain all the pros of this camera before I purchased. So, I felt that I was fairly knowledgeable about the equipment. This 90D is a very noticeable upgrade with many new features. I’m not sure that this camera is considered a PRO camera but it's still got a lot of features and settings to learn. What I like about it so far is the autofocus is accurate and easy to navigate. Using the optical viewfinder for most photoshoots, to me, is a more comfortable way to shoot. This is a well-built camera with a great feature set for the weekend enthusiast or the semiprofessional photographer. If you already have some experience with Canon then this is a great option.

This was my most expensive camera ever bought and I can t say enough about it. I looooove it. Went to Los Cabos and took the most beautiful pictures with it. My friends thought I was an amazing photographer (which I would dream to be).

I bought this camera to replace the Canon 70D camera I had (repairs were more expensive than the camera was worth). I have used this camera a couple of times now, and the pictures have turned our really nice from it.

I’m sorry I do not know all the tech nerd lingo to fully articulate why I like this camera, but
1. I like that the led screen fully rotated. My Sony A6000 barely moved
2.I like that I can insert an external mic directly into the camera
3.And I like the app that allows me to connect my camera to my MacBook and watch myself on a larger screen
