Camera is expensive because it's professional grade. However the features and information that the camera gives makes it easier to use.

Camera is exactly what I wanted after I did my research. I will next buy more sophisticated lenses and some accessories to enhance this already outstanding piece of equipment

This camera surpassed my expectations! The AF is better than any camera I have seen. As a portrait photographer, I am super pleased.

I returned to Canon after using another mirrorless brand. I had an older Canon DSLR and lenses before upgrading to this mirrorless. I was used to the idea of manipulating or "developing" my old images. I have found that this particular image processor does a much better job and after shot processing is more of adjusting crops and not color balancing. I went ahead and purchased the EF to R lens adapter too and my old EF lenses work great. You can operate the camera fully auto or any of the programmable modes. The kit lens is not bad either. But while you are at it-get one of the F11 telephotos-wow!

This camera is great! I would say that it is worth it over the R5 if you are on a budget. Shoots in 4k and has a high-quality build. Definitely an upgrade from T7i

Very complicated. Took a while before I was sure if the pricetag was worth it. not cheap. But its a camera for more professionals than newbies. The automatic settings are now mostly manual and while it does some thinking on its own, its a lot to process. and i know what I'm doing. The pictures are sharp and crisp. There could be better materials explaining the insane amount of settings, its daunting. So you have to spend lots of time with this camera. But, the shutter is blazing fast. Use for sports mostly.

I love the quality of videos and especially videos. This is the best canon camera I’ve ever had.
