Amazing camera in every way, for the price. My last camera was a T3i (600D) and this is a major upgrade. My macro photography has improved considerably.

I took this to Italy for two weeks and loved the compact, easy-to-use Canon. The images look great, the dials are easy to navigate and the compact size is good for travel. I will look into other lenses once I have a good feel for all of the bells and whistles of this camera.

The camera is pretty good , the no In-body image stabilization is a big detriment to the quality of video , you really need a GOOOD stabilizer to get steady shots

great full frame beginner camera! used it to start my videography and photography hobby and it shinned but just a huge fyi it does have overheating problems and small batteries but the image quality is awesome

I upgraded from a crop-sensor DSLR and it feels levels above. I like how light it is, the low light performance, the fact that it has 4k video, and the simplicity of the dials and buttons - also the flip screen helps immensely. It is great for doing both photography and videography. I've had one instance of overheating, which was annoying, but it was when I was doing 4k 60 fps video and switching to taking photos as well - must have stressed the camera out a bit. Otherwise I've had no overheating warnings. The battery life is so-so... but I'm able to use my crop-sensor DSLR batteries with this camera, so that is a big win. Finally no IBIS is challenging. I'll be making sure any other lenses I get have good image stabilization. Overall I'm very impressed and excited by the camera.

This is my first mirrorless camera. I previously shot with a Canon Rebel T6. I like the compact size and image quality this camera offers. With the canon EF to RF adapter I'm able to use all my old EF Lenses and they all work great on the new camera. The RF 24-50mm lens that comes with this camera has great image quality for a kit lens . I'm very impressed with this camera and look forward to taking more photos with it for years to come.

For someone that has never owned or used a camera other than their phone. I highly recommend the Cannon E05. Simple to use and the photo quality is amazing.

Purchased in March, this is the perfect camera for the avid wedding photographer, perfect for family events, and vivid colors for Spring time photo shoots. Weighing less than the average DSLR, the full frame mirror less camera gets the job done without weighing you down. The video capabilities of this camera also make it cool as well. With the ability to record in C-Log, those colors can really pop in post production. The Canon R8 is a fun and sporty version of its bigger brother, the Canon EOS R6 Mark II for about $1,000 less. I would highly suggest purchasing the Canon R8 if you’re looking for a portable camera with a lot of power, and coolness that kicks the competitors away. Check out the Canon R8 if you want a nice camera at a great price!

We bought this for our 16 yr old. He absolutely loves this camera and uses it for sports photography, and the images are so, so good. It seems really easy to use. I can't wait to see all the things he captures with this camera!

The Canon R8 is compact, takes great pictures and the autofocus is very fast. Also if you shoot RAW, the RAW images can be pushed in post and the colors are excellent. The video options are good for this price level.

For the price point, this camera is an animal! Having used Sony and Nikon mirrorless systems before Canon, I can say that I’m kicking myself for not switching to Canon sooner! The battery dies a bit quicker, to be expected as it is a smaller body/ battery, but the quality of the camera, photos, video, and how easy it is to use is fantastic! It’s a blast every time I take the camera out!
