Easy to use and easy to get my wife to use. Love it

Great camera with many features, maybe too many for me. Takes great photos and really lets the inner photographer come out but still guides you through great shots. This is a small bodied camera with all the features of its larger siblings. My wife likes the size and still have a full size sensor.

Use my SL1 as a backup for my Canon 70 D. Makes a great museum setup as it is very small and light. I use it with a footed Monopod to help stabilize camera for slower shutter speeds which are sometimes needed in museums with low light displays. Very compact and takes great images.

The one thing I don't like with standard dslr is their size, but this one is really compact and light weight. Takes good photo as expected from dslrs. Touch screen is really helpful for quick setting and navigation.

Very nice action shots and pretty easy to use. I have used this camera for a lot of action shots of my son playing hockey. Pictures came out great!

I enjoyed using this camera, I am new to DLSR and it worked great. The auto and the manual options were easy to learn . It was also lite weight and super easy to carry, the case that it came with is a little bulky but with the extra lens it was needed.

I am taking a Digital Photography class and this camera is working very well. I am taking photos that are just as good if not better than the higher priced camera's that my fellow students have. The 75-300mm zoom lens is phenomenal as I took it with me on a Rock climbing trip and the photos with the zoom lens are amazingly clear. Perfect for the budding photographer. The smaller size is ideal for travel in my Hiking/camping pack. Have average size hands and I have no complaints about the compact size or the controls. Cons: Wi-Fi capability would of been nice.

The SL1 is a great DSLR for someone coming from point and shoots and the extra lenses in this bundle are nothing to write home about but they do give a taste of what can really be done with a camera like this. The only disappointment is the bag. It isn't a bad bag, but with just the main pocket and one divider anything else you buy outside this package will likely make you wish it had at least one zipper pocket somewhere. I just wish the bag didn't become obsolete as soon as I purchased any new lenses or even a couple SD cards or a spare battery.

Great overall for beginner or advance. Easy to use and has lots of functions to increase the quality of your photos.

This is the perfect camera especially for beginning photographers. I bought this camera for my daughter and she loves it as she says besides taking perfect pictures, she found it easy to use and loves that it is lightweight and compact. I would definitely recommend this camera.

The only reason this isn't 5 stars is it hasn't been tested in full use yet. I worked with it here at home and it seems easy to use and I believe I made the right purchase. I love that all EOS lenses are compatible because I have a couple lenses with my old EOS Rebel 35mm that fit great.

So far it has worked excellent, but I havent done much with it, except a few photos around the house. I got it due to friends having Canons and being VERY happy with them, plus I used a Canon while in Germany that belonged to a friend, and that is why I picked the Canon to purchase.
