Positives: Wireless set up was a breeze. Fast printer, although large photos can take a while to start to print. I saw a review that it is noisy - I found that it is fairly quiet. Two-sided printing Two-sided scanning through the doc feeder Toner replacement is a breeze Neutral observations: Color prints are not photo quality, but it was not purchased for printing photos. I have not tried connecting to a second computer yet. Because I have online storage with the same account for all my computers, that probably will not be necessary. Negatives: Hard time finding replacement cartridges. I found nowhere that has them in stock for pick up. Cannot find replacement toner by looking up the printer model on Best Buy website, and several other sites/stores that I checked. Tip - look for replacement toner by using the cartridge number. Best Buy was the quickest delivery I found - at 2 days. The Canon website only has black cartridges available - you cannot purchase color toner direct from the manufacturer. It did cost me more to buy a set of replacement toner than it cost to purchase the printer.

This is an amazing 4-in-1 Color Laser Printer. It is simply the swiss army knife of 4-in-1 color laser printers. The text quality and image quality (color or B&W) is excellent. This printer is right at home in any home office or small to medium sized business office. (I feel it could also be used as a single department's standalone printer for a larger business as well.) It is a high throughput (up to 35 ppm) that can withstand a lot of paper output for a business. It has all of the features and functions that an IT department would look for in a printer like this too. It has the capability for an IT person to do many things remotely as well. I work from home and travel to client sites. When I am in my home office, I use a B&W laser printer for high quality print. Then, I have a 4-in-1 color inkjet printer for all other functions; color print, copying, faxing, and scanning. This printer has just replaced both of my current printers and seriously upped my output. I print a lot of documents with mixed text and graphics. I also print a lot of labels, envelopes, and use letterhead and special bond paper. So, I use a multipurpose tray heavily for envelopes, letterhead, and special paper. In addition, I copy and scan several hundred pages at a time with a document feeder. In the printers I've used in the past, these two parts seem to experience most of the problems (i.e., errors, misfeeds, and breaks). During the 5 days I've used the Canon MF753Cdw, I didn't experience any misfeeds or problems. Both, the document feeder and multipurpose tray worked flawlessly. Not even a paper jam! I feel the scanner is an absolute standout on this printer. The image quality is amazing and the Canon Scan Utility software makes everything easy and captures it the way I need (PDF, JPG, Tiff, or PNG). To test the image quality, I took a 4" x 6" postcard that I scanned, enlarged it and printed it onto letter sized paper, than scanned that 8.5" x 11" paper into a JPG file. The color and image quality of the resulting JPG image is virtually identical to the original 4" x 6" (see attached photos). I thought the MF753Cdw's screen was very easy to use and it worked very well. I really liked that you could customize and move the icons around on each panel and even rename the panels to what makes sense for your office. This printer has all of the advanced functions that many business printers have. For example, you can copy 1-sided to 2-sided, etc. You can even copy 1 or 2-sided documents to multiple pages to a single page. (i.e., a 100 page document can be copied onto 25 pages, 4 to a page). This is really great for proof reading my large documents and conserving paper. The MF753Cde was very easy to setup and configure. It took me less than 2 hours to be up and printing. The automatic setup takes you through most everything you need. Then the online manual helps you finetune the little things. The supplied software (or downloadable if you want the most recent updates) provides drivers, remote scanning software, and links to the online manual and remote setup and configuration tools. Loading the toner cartridges is via a easy, pullout no-mess tray. This is much improved over my old color laser printer. Overall, I am very pleased and absolutely love this printer. I would certainly recommend this printer to anyone looking for a heavy duty, high quality print and image quality, color laser printer.

Somewhat compact, quick, clear printer. I love that it has a copier and fax built in as well. Printing is fast and the quality is great. The draft/low toner mode is basically useless, as the prints are way too washed out. Toner are a bit on the pricey side and have an average time before they need to be replaced. I had an older model that I ruined when trying to clean it out after using off brand toners, we went for the newer model since I really had great success with the old one.

This printer should be called The Flash. It's literally instant prints. The replacement "ink" are "069 Toner Cartridge" They're roughly $100 for each black/cyan/magenta/yellow, so you're looking at $400 (basically the price of a new printer!) if you run out of ink. At the same time, you can print roughly 2000. This is pretty overkill for a casual home user - it's made for business - but it's a luxury to have. The negative is it takes up a lot of space. It's great to have all-in-one, touch screen, and app support to print directly from your phone. Best Buy has the best price!

I have purchased (4) different Canon MF class printers over the years, this being the latest one. What does that say? Overall, the Canon MF series printers, this MF753Cdw being the latest in another small office/home office setting that I have, are solid printers. Canon does a proper job with their drivers for both Windows and Mac and the ability to print from the iPhone is wonderful. Now, with that said, the only time I ever had a serious problem with a Canon MF series printer was when I attempted to use some after-market toner cartridges from Amazon, where the blue cartridge blew up (literally) inside the printer and destroyed that printer. I will only trust Canon original toner cartridges.

I bought this to replace an HP Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M477 with over 60,000 pages printed. Thst was a good printer. I was looking for another similar HP printer but was attracted to the Canon based upon price and the number of pages per minute it could print. I print a lot of tax returns and some are hundreds of psges with all the attached schedules and worksheets. So far this has been a grest printer. Easy set up. I like the scan feature much better than the HP. Have not tried to send a fax yet. My only concern is the price of the replacement ink cartridges seems to be a little higher thsn the HP.

The canon image class MF753cdw is a fantastic printer. From some of the reviews they encountered a problem or two. You have to consider the majority. This thing was easy to install and runs fantastic. It is well built. I was an hp fan, they are very disappointing now. This is a laser jet and I’m glad I switched. When you really dive into the price of ink for this vs inkjet it is very comparable per copy, down side is laser initial cartridge cost is higher, but the amount of copy’s per cartridge is much higher. Quality printer is way better. It you are looking to print photos this is not it. It does print a picture well for reports etc., but a photo quality to hang on your wall, this is not it. That is a laser at this prize point. If you are considering an ink well type printer, they are cheap, built cheap and print cheap. If that is ok and what you can afford then go for it. If you can step just a little more up this is it. Good luck in your choice and happy printing.

Best middle range printer I’ve ever owned. Easy set up. Toner lasts quite a while. Fast printing and beautiful color. So much easier than the HP I recently bought, that is now sitting in my basement because too difficult to work with

As a self-employed artist, I print a lot of cards and calendars. In searching for a new printer, I found this Canon ImageCLASS MF753Cdw online and Best Buy had the best price. I've only had it for a short time, but so far I give 5 Stars for performance and quality. It's a little work horse!

This is an upgrade to a Canon MF743cdw. I was looking for a durable color all-in-one laser printer. Because of my experiences with the prior model, I was favorably disposed to this product. It is relatively fast, offers good scanning capabilities and its setup is relatively straightforward. Compared to the MF743cdw, this version offers some important updates - it is faster and its menuing system is much better organized. Overall, related to comparable HP products (I did look), this is a no-brainer. HP locks you into only hp toner; here, we can use (with some cautions) third party. The only downside of this system is the cost of the toner, which is really dear. I usually buy it on ebay. If you can live with this problem, then you will be pleased with this unit. Recommended.

Note that I am using a MacBook Pro M2 system when writing this review. It's a newer machine with questionable compatibility with various software but everything worked out fine. Overall, I'd say this All-In-One machine is easy to install, physically. Getting it up and running over wifi is incredibly straight forward. Initial printer set up is easy enough as it prints out a calibration page first that you scan into the itself to adjust accordingly. Firmware updates was all automatic and maybe took all of 10 minutes. My computer (running MacOS Venture 13) was able to find the printer with all the appropriate settings like double-sided printing, scaling, etc. The reason for the 4/5 star rating is that the "Remote UI" settings are incredibly NOT user friendly. There are several YouTube videos and Canon has some sites dedicated to getting this set up but I wish there was an easy desktop application I could launch to control this system. Unfortunately, Remote UI requires you to locate the IP address, set up an online account, and adjust settings through your web browser. This is easy enough for the average tech-savvy person but the general population will most certainly have difficulty managing these settings. A user-friendly desktop app or mobile app to accompany this machine would have been incredibly helpful. All that being said, this imageCLASS system works incredibly well. Having the 5" touch screen ON the system itself is very helpful to navigate the settings. Size-wise, this system sits underneath my desk (about 30" ground clearance) with plenty of space for the top lid to open for scanning.
