dont buy this printer

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.quit working after 1 year and only after printing 200 pages. my friend also bought one, same problem will only print photos now badly. documents it quit printing all together. took it to cannon, wanted $ 150 to fix it. after 200 pages, no thanks. buy some other brand.

Color is sub par, works great from the phone on WiFi, still cannot connect via two different laptops. My IT guys cannot get it to work on my work laptop. Go with Epson, or Ricoh.

Canon G4200

My last Canon MX712 was twice the printer this one is, and I only paid $100 for it. This one is slow, noisy, and the quality of the photos printed don't compare to my old printer. I have always purchased Canon, but very disappointed in this one. The only reason I am keeping it, is because it will save me on ink costs.

Printer permanently shuts down

After researching, I learned that there is a sponge in the back that fills up with the ink it uses to clean itself. Once that happens, it throws this error code and you have basically no good options to fix it so the printer is now useless. We had to due numerous cleanings over its short life due to poor print quality and frequent clogging. Will never buy a Canon again.

Worst document scanner and ink dried up
