This printer is the best one I found for the money. I was surprised I did not need to connect it to my computer for the initial set up. Selected wireless from the CD-ROM disk, wireless took it from there. Reason for 4 stars and not 5 is, that the paper tray is not closeable while holding paper. Also the door separating blank paper and printed sheets is not closeable either. Perhaps future models will have this issue modified. Overall a great simple printer, scanner, copier.

Pleased with this printer/scanner. Great phone app interface. Easy to use. Does have frenquent jam/error message, where you have to open the access doors and close and then it resets and works. If you want a low-cost printer that works with your iPhone to print coupons and school paperwork in small batches this is a good one.

I've own a Canon PIXMA MG 3629 All-in-One before. It finally gave out and had to be replaced. I don't print often and it's great to have it near my at-home office desk. I'm a genealogist and that is when I tend to print more often. I've printed a few webpages, print is crisp and clear, though I'm concerned about color quality .. considering it's a brand new Canon color ink cartridge. I did a scan yesterday ... it was so quiet I accidentally scanned the same page three times! I love the quiet!! I look forward to using/paying with features that will make my genealogy print work easy.

Printer is fast. And you can print on both side of the paper. The only problem is, you have to remove the papers from the paper tray to be able to close the printer.

I have this printer and I love it. When my nephew needed one for college, I went ahead and got him the same one I had because it’s worked well (much better than the HOs I’ve had previously). When it was delivered, the part that holds the ink in was missing. He’s going to take it to a Best Buy (he’s at college in a very small town, so it will be a bit of a drive). Hopefully they’ll replace it.

Great printer overall once set up. The downsides are that it's a bit hard to set up wireless printing, and the shiny plastic finish scratches easily. It is a two tone red. The top is a bit darker red than the rest as shown in my pictures. Would recommend because it works great once set up and the color is very nice.

This printer is perfect for SMALL home printing and scanning jobs. We returned only because we received a different printer for free. I gave four stars because it’s cheaper to replace the printer than to replace the ink.

    Canon Delivers on Connectivity But…

I've been using the Canon PIXMA MG3620 for a few weeks now, and overall, it's a solid choice for anyone in need of an all-in-one printer. The setup process was impressively straightforward; it took just a few minutes to get the printer connected to my Wi-Fi network, and the accompanying app made wireless printing from my smartphone a breeze. The print quality is great, especially for photos and color documents. I appreciate the compact design which fits nicely on my printer cabinet without taking up too much space. However, I do have a few concerns that hold me back from giving it a full five stars. One major issue is how easily paper can get stuck inside the printer. It can be quite frustrating, especially since determining the source of a paper jam is not as intuitive as it could be. I've found myself digging around in the printer trying to locate the jammed paper which i do not like to do for fear of damaging the unit. Additionally, I noticed that using the duplex printing feature seems to exacerbate this problem, leading to more frequent jams. It would be preferable if the printer didn’t auto-default to duplex printing; having to manually disable in the settings is a bit of a hassle. Overall, while the Canon PIXMA MG3620 excels in setup and connectivity, it falls short in handling paper jams and the duplex printing feature. If these issues were addressed, it would truly be an outstanding printer!

It was easy to install, this is my first time actually using a wireless printer. The previous version of this printer never actually connected wirelessly so I was happy that this one was very fast. I had problem with too many devices linked to it at one point and it couldn’t print because there was another computer in front of it though nothing was in que on any other device. All in all it was solid for the price I paid!

I bought this printer for my mother because I hoped it would be as easy to use as the MG3100 series printer that I have owned and enjoyed for years. So far, she has only printed and copied a couple documents, but I haven't heard any complaints yet :) What I can attest to is the ease of setup. I went to the website listed in the paper setup instructions that came with the printer in order to download and install the printer drivers on her laptop. The step-by-step on-screen instructions were very easy to follow, but I was especially pleased that I did not have to physically connect the printer to a computer or a router (this printer did not come with those cables in the box anyway) in order for it to connect to the wireless network. During the setup process, the printer automatically detected and connected to her secure wireless network. Usually this is the most challenging part of setting up a device, so that was a pleasant surprise. So far the printer is working great. I am only giving 4 (out of 5) stars because I cannot yet speak to the longevity of the ink or the durability of the product over time.

    Solid Budget Printer

I purchased this printer exclusively for home use and so far, I am satisfied with the production and quality of the prints. My printer is paired with both my PC and Mac and had little issues setting up the printer for USB and wifi connectivity. One thing I do emphasize is to follow the instructions that are included with the printer to ensure your setup process goes smoothly. Also, if you plan on using the printer connected via USB, ensure that you purchase a USB-A to USB-B cable. The printer does not include a USB cable. As a budget printer, I knew what to expect and I wasn't wrong. The scanner is decent, the printer is loud when turning it on and while it prints, but again, not a deal breaker. I am happy with the purchase I made and would recommend this printer to anyone who needs a basic home printer for occasional printing. If you do need to print multiple pages, I would recommend a laser jet printer that easily handles high volume printing.

Perfect size and love the red. Prints as expected so far and the setup was not complicated as other reviews have mentioned. My only complaint it that it does not stay in "standby" mode for anytime/anywhere printing so whenever you want to print something you first need to press the power button on the printer.

I've had another older version of this printer and it was perfect, this one is good too not as good as the other one. Canon products are reliable and I know they're going to last and do its job
