Best price for a simple home color printer. Great value. No scanner. Ink runs out fast

In 1962 I was a team member at Control Data Corp when it took a team two months to build one computer. In the 1970s I built Satellite Instruments for the UofM. In the 1980s I designed, built and programmed single board computer controllers used in food processing equipment around the world, But since retirement I have not kept up with technology so I cannot tell you which is the best printer. I can only tell you this is the one I chose for my home office.

Got this for an elderly lady I help with IT stuff. The price was right, and if it breaks, replacing it will not be a burden. She does not print much, so did not need a bunch of fancy features.

I could not get it to connect to none of my devices. I had to purchase a separate usb cord because it didn’t come with one. I tried to return it but was declined because it was over 14 days. I purchased another printer. This time a wireless one. I made sure I setup it the same day to make sure it worked

This printer was very easy to set up using the Canon website for my iMac. Very simple printing for my home office. I love the fact that I can use the same ink that I use for my other canon printer at my satellite office.

An excellent buy for the price. Printer works find. Canon is on the cheap side regarding the amount of ink in the tanks that come with the printer. But from past experience this is not all that unusual with new printers. Best Buy provided very speedy delivery. But one suggestion to Best Buy. Considering all the problems with packages being stolen off of porches these days I was a bit surprised to see the printer shipped in its original box ... some low life type would spot it right away. Good idea to hide the identity of what is in the box me thinks.
