I really liked this printer and wanted to keep it. It has a place in the front and in the rear to feed black sheets of paper for printing. When you print the paper holder automatically comes out so that your printouts don’t fall to the floor. Setup was easy and the app is great. The only thing missing is a document feeder for the scanner. I really need the document feeder, so I had to return it. Other than that it is a great printer that should hold up. If you don’t need a document feeder for scanning, then This will be a great printer for casual home printing.

Laughingly easy set up! So far (30 days of light use) no problems and great performance for copies, printing and photos. If this remains the case we will be very happy with our purchase.

Printer was easy to set up. Scanner works great. Print jobs are good quality. Didn’t want a white printer but surprisingly looks great on our desk.

Wow what a great little printer. Pictures come out sharp as tacks. Printed word is crisp and clear. Ease of use is there as well. Quite happy w this purchase.

The instructions were thorough so it was easy to set up. I don’t think it would handle large print jobs easily, but it’s valuable for those with only moderate printing or copying needs.

I purchased this printer in the past week for my telecommute. I've purchased a Canon in the past and had issues after a year with networking. From using it the past week, the software and drivers seem improved, whether printing from a home network, mobile phone, MAC/PC. The unit was a little bigger than expected, but the quality is nice & so is the color. I like the drawers are bottom loading. I can't stand the HP top loaders. Not yet sure on # of copies or cost of cartridges, but they seem average. Print quality is good.

The printer was a little hard to set up because it would not accept paper in the front tray. I think who ever wrote the instructions didn't actually know about the rear tray. It took awhile for me to figure out that the paper will only print from the rear. I had Canon Pixma's before that worked really well but this one is more complex for no reason at all. That little screen to make choices is inconvenient. But now I have finally gotten used to its complexities like auto tray going in and out. This was an unnecessary step they added.

Bought this one because I accidentally broke the glass platen on my previous one. Bought another one,... (Although, it is a 6300 series versus the older 6100 series, from about a year plus old one) because, like the older series, it is very versitile. There are seperate tanks for each color and a large and small black ink tank.... so, you don't have to replace a large expensive multi-color tank when just one color is empty! Also, unlike some others, it will keep on printing when one or more color tanks are empty, - just in black, which you can also designate. It starts pretty easy, folds/ closes easy for storage. I would buy again.

Nice quality and fairly quick for a home printer. It’s a little loud and I’m not sure I like the top load paper tray.

Sent this to my college student and he says it works great. If this is used for college make sure to add a USB wire to the order. Wifi at colleges are not the best for printers and they don't recommend it. Again printer works great!

Very good printer for the price. It is less noisy. Easy set up. I also like that you can load paper on two trays.

The printer has a simple set up procedure, printing wirelessly from both laptop and phone. Intuitive adjustments are helpful.

The output from this printer is good quality and relatively good speed for a home printer. The colors and B/W are all crisp. Not too noisy. Decent capacity paper tray which is easy to access and easy to load. The major drawback is in the input functions for printer setup. When connecting to Wi-Fi with a password, EACH character requires somewhere between 3 and 20 button clicks. Of course, then they become invisible so if you got one wrong, you can't tell and have to clear it all and start over. Also, I do not recommend trying to combine this with wi-fi mesh routers -- if your computer is connected from a different device even if over the same network, it will not communicate with the printer. You basically have to be in the same room. This may not be unique to this printer, but it is the first one that I have had connected in this way.

Price, ease of set up, quality of all facets of printing are all I expected from canon printers thus far. my previous printer was a canon I had for many years. When it was time for a new printer (things do wear out when they get old. and newer tech is available). I looked at a couple of other manufacturers who had good offers as well but decided to go with what I know and I am not sorry. good product & good price, you can't go wrong. Ed C

Printer is working great. Able to print from iPhone, iPad, Android, laptops etc... It is also a little quieter than the old HP that it replaced.

Good when its on sale. Scans/copy very good and print is good but drivers dont allow true black/white printing and colors are involved with grayscale....hate that....need to go into some setting that says use black only but gets expensive with ink replacement...like HP drivers better but unless things have changed cheap HPs are hard to get anymore. Canon is betterquality imagewise but HP cheaper to run for a work environment.

Not the easiest printer to use. Just getting PAPER in it to feed is next to impossible. It’s not just me as I’ve had 3 others- 2 who work with printers and scanners daily - have difficulty.It refuses to accept the options chosen for paper size mote often than not. It also won’t stay connected to my wi-fi, which I understand may be an issue strictly due to our home , and I constantly have to reset the options. Even when a computer is plugged in to it and not using wi-if , it might only connect half the time . When it does work the quality is very good and fast. I bought this a year ago and had I known it was going to be such a PITA I would have returned it.

Super easy set up and easy to use . Compact design with paper feeder under unit . Great quality copies .

This printer was easy to set up and makes excellent prints. It is a good value for the money. I would highly recommend it to others.
