    G.L.C. (Great Little Camera!)

Fantastic camera we bought to replace a similar Canon that we had for several years. The camera's compact size and clarity of photos are our favorite features. The camera is easy to use, well made, the zoom feature is excellent, and it is a great alternative to taking photos with a cell phone! The only drawback we find is that since it's rather small, it would seem easy to drop it, so we'd recommend always having the included wrist strap around your wrist. This is a great little camera for the size. It was easy to find an appropriate padded case for it also!

The Cannon Power Shot is a great pocket camera for around $100. I had a similar camera for about 10 years and it finally died. I use this camera on conjunction with my phone and Iam so glad s purchased it

For the price it's an excellent camera. I use it primarily as a snap shot camera, but occasionally need to zoom in. The optical zoom allows me to get a close up without losing pixels (as a digital zoom would). Also the date stamp is very important to me, and easy to use. It's small size makes easily pocketable. Pictures are better that those from my cell phone, at least for my use. But it has no features that I don't require, which would certainly increase the price.

Pictures this camera takes are OK, I guess. You can get some good shots, but the image quality is nothing to write home about. I'm usually participating in the group activities I'm photographing, so the size and functionality of this camera works well for what I'm doing. However, some images seem undersaturated to me, and things can go south if lighting conditions are less than ideal. Using a photo editing program can help with the shortcomings. I bought this camera to replace an ELPH 300HS that was maybe 5 years old that quit working. Not that much has changed (the old one was 12.1 megapixels with a 5x zoom). And I thought the old one took better pictures and video. By the way, a friend has an iPhone that takes better pictures than this camera.

We got this for my daughter for Christmas. She wanted a "real" camera. Since she is still young and a little clumsy we didn't want to spend too much and this little camera fit the bill. Not a high end camera, but is more than enough for a beginner. When we got it, it came with a free 32gb memory card.

Good minimal camera. I got it to carry in a kayak when I don’t want to risk dropping my iPhone in the water. It’s nice and small and takes decent documentary pictures. Wouldn’t use it for serious Art shots but I could be surprised. I like the tiny size and light weight and have never been disappointed by Canon.

Bought this camera for my wife for Christmas and she couldn't be happier. She wanted a camera to take pictures whenever she wanted without having to use her phone, especially of our 1 y/o daughter. This camera fit the bill, and it takes great pictures and is easy to use. For the price of the camera I'm impressed with the picture quality (although I haven't had a chance to review the photos on an hd screen yet, only the small screen on the camera itself).

Good small compact camera, easy to use. However you must purchase a cable if you want to download to your computer. Unless your computer has a slot for the SIMM card. My old PC did not so I had to purchase one. Takes nice quality pictures, easy auto focus. Very good price
