    I've been using power shot cameras for many years This SX540HS takes excellent outdoor pictures. However, it will occasionally shut down during extreme humidity.

    Good all around camera with great zoom that is easy to use. However, no date stamp option is a deal breaker for me. I have been using these cameras for years and now have to switch to something else since they got rid of that option. Disappointing.

    I am not a camera person, and find some of the newest point and shoot cameras to be too easy to break of hard to program. This camera is excellent for someone like me who doesn't have a PHD in photography. Very happy with the product.
