I haven't had the camera very long but so far I love it... It is easy to use and takes great pictures... I wanted a good camera that was light and not very expensive... I found it....

This Canon SX710 HS replaces my Canon G12 that started giving me problems and finally became inoperable. The G12 had more features, although was very slow to respond. I wanted a high speed camera that was a little more compact, and this one fit the bill. Since I didn't use a lot of the high level features of the G12, I find this camera meets my needs. The controls are typical for Canon, making it a simple transition.

My wife and I have been using Canon cameras for over 30 years and still use a Canon SLR so when we wanted a point and shoot camera there was no question other than a Canon. The zoom and image stabilization are incredible. At the Packers/ Seahawks game we were able to get full face photos of the players from 30 rows up in the stands.

I bought this camera to be able to take pictures and video of my daughter during her games. So far I have only used the camera. If you are not familiar with a camera I suggest reading the manual. Getting the right settings is important. What I really like about the camera is I was able to download an app and connect it to my phone so I can see the image on my phone and place the camera to take the picture using my phone. This came in handy during Christmas when taking family pictures. Also I have used the timer on the camera and that works well. The pictures are very clear. I did do a test video to see how that works out and it looks pretty good. I am excited to use it at my daughters games.

Great camera, good quality pictures and very convenient compact size and ability to upload pictures to computer and phone wirelessly.

Easy to use, great photo quality. Very long zoom lense, and very quick next picture action allows for great sport event photos.

I needed a small camera to replace a Nikon I had for only 2 years for a trip. Went to Best Buy and one of the associates showed me this Canon. She was helpful and the camera was exactly what I was looking for. Takes great indoor (with good light) and outdoor pictures. Easy to use and small enough to tuck away. Great price too!

A little more money than I wanted to spend but worth every penny. Easy to get started but, the more you do, the more you find you can do. So glad I bought it. Very happy!

I bought this camera for wife. She loves it , easy to use ang great pictures. The wi-fi option is also a nice feature.

Great camera for a beginner! Not a lot of bells and whistles, so it's not intimidating. Very light weight, so it easy to manage if you're challenged with working with one hand.

Fits in my purse, which is a great plus. Yet it takes pictures almost as good as my big Canon. Absolutely love it.

I love my new camera. It seems really easy to use, however, I am having a problem being able to read the instruction manual. The print is VERY small. I called Canon and they said that they would send me a larger manual that would be easier to read, however, when I got the new manual, it was even smaller print! So I called them again, and they said that they would send me a new manual with larger print....I am still waiting. It has been over a month now.

Enjoyed using my new Canon while traveling. Liked the ease of carrying a small camera as opposed to my large Nikon and got some great shots with the zoom.
