Don't buy black. White is better. This black material is very scratchy. But the simple 400x zoom is so cool! Photos come out well. Videos are not recommended. Battery drains quickly, 1080p but don't expect quality!

I travel quite a bit. I like to get out and take a break and view wildlife in the area I’m in. This monocular is small enough that it fits in my bag. The optics are good. Lots if fun. Recently, I was in Florida. I went to a park, scoped out some alagators and some osprey hunting fish. The recording features are sufficient for what it is. The 800 zoom gave me good images. For the price I thought it was a great value. The images below are a direct view from the unit at 800mm. I aimed my phone through the viewer.

I got this for portability in case I want to take a quick picture/video while walking or hiking. It weights close to nothing and the menus are easy to navigate. Big disappointment is that sharpness is not it's forte. Most shots taken are soft. No protective cover to the front lens which could be scratched when you have something else with it in your pocket. Battery life is average. Zoom feature is good also. You really need a steady hand to shoot because it's so light that a minor shake will blur your images.

Basically this is a repackaged Canon digital point and shoot into a handheld monocular. Really that is all it is, and oddly it does the job well. Extremely compact so you can take it anywhere, Image stabilized, and you can adjust the eyepiece so you don't need your glasses. Plus it takes a decent photo even at the 800 digital zoom (or video). Once you take some images or videos, connect to your phone via Canon connect and download all you want. If you ever watched Star Wars and they use the power binoculars? This is kinda one of those.

Not for me. It works well for looking at something but the quality is terrible. Especially for the price it’s not worth it. I wouldn’t recommend taking photos with it either bad quality. If you don’t have a camera then this works fine.
