Customers consistently note the Quick Grip DSLR Camera Hand Strap for its ease of use, security, and grip. Many appreciate the quality and lightweight design, making it suitable for extended use. However, some customers have concerns about the fit, especially for larger hands or specific camera models. Additionally, a few users find the neck strap and padding to be less than ideal.

I purschased this hand strap for my Canon 50D with battery pack. It was purchased so I could carry my camera around with me on a Top Chef Cruise my wife and I were going on to Cuzemel Mexico. The strap worked perfectly and the cruise was one big party. The price is fair and the build seems solid but soft on the hand.

When I'm shooting events, I don't always like to have my camera around my neck. This strap lets me keep my camera in hand and ready at all times. I have no issue keeping my fingers lightly clasped around the grip while my arm hangs straight and still keeping the camera firmly secured. I have this on my 5Dm3 and 6D both with battery grips and it works great. I don't use the screw on the bottom since the battery grips have a better spot to attach to.

I had a similar cheap one that fell apart and wanted to replace it. I like using this hand strap when I'm just walking around with my camera not using the neck strap, feels secure in my hand that way. My only complaint is that I notice it unscrewing easily, but I just make a point of checking it before hand and have not had a problem yet.

This product takes lousy pictures. It took me almost an hour after trying to take a picture with this thing before I realized that it's most effective when attached to a device that actually takes pictures. Once it's correctly attached to the camera body and adjusted correctly to hand size using the easy adjustment straps, it keeps the camera securely in place in ready "snapping" position. This product should not be used as a tripod, nor as a fashion accessory.

Case Logic makes some affordable and reliable gear. (I got this on a sale, so that makes it even better.) It's easy to install. I've had this for 6 months now as of this review. I've taken it to a rain forest, the beach, tall buildings, a parade, botanical garden, the desert. It hasn't come off so far and it has served me well. I have small hands, so I wasn't sure if this would fit me, but after some strap adjustment, no problem. The material is similar to what you find on backpack shoulder straps. It's cushioned and the hand strap is perforated for breathability. I have a camera strap around my neck and now this. Sometimes I don't feel like hanging my camera around my neck, so having this hand strap is a plus. It also comes in handy for quick one-handed shots, like when I need to reach low or over-head. It gives me a sense of security that I won't drop my camera.

Very good quality camera strap. Fits the Sony NEX and Alpha cameras, however, the strap does not fit my wrist as well as I would like. It feels as though it will slip off during long periods of use.

Well made - a little clumsy for the SX50

This hand strap is pretty well made and should last, but for the Canon SX50 it's clumsy. One cannot operate the thumb wheel or other buttons on the top-right and back of the camera while the 'grip' is around your hand. It requires slipping hand out a bit to operate wheel/buttons, but still I like to have a side-strap for these cameras.. have ALWAYS used wrist straps on the pocket zooms, and this product is basically the same idea with a surer grip. The drawbacks, beside not being able to operate the camera controls with hand fully in grip are: attachment wheel is very big (in height-protrudes) so it's difficult to set the camera down with it in place. Also the attachment wheel-screw obstructs the battery compartment door on the bottom. So one needs to 'undo' the end of the grip to change the battery. Also the thumb wheel isn't 'gangable' so you can't screw a monopod into it, for example. Still though, I must have a firm grip on the SX50, and it will likely never be dropped with this hand strap in place. I'll adjust and continue using it.

The strap is well built and is secure on my camera, but two problems for me - 1. it hugs my hand in a bad position. and 2. the tripod screw keeps the camera from sitting up when not in use. I decided to go with a lanyard type of strap for my new A6000. This may work better on my bigger Canon dslr.

    One-handed shooting!

The best thing about this is you can relax your hand's grip on the camera. Pro: The Quick Grip makes one-handed shooting so much easier when you're backpacking around a city. You really can shoot with a 2 to 4 pound SLR on one hand without worrying about dropping it. You don't feel like you HAVE TO have a neck strap on. Just make sure you keep the grip snug. Con: I would prefer it if it was easily adjustable while on. This may not be true for others but I had to remove the camera and use two hands to make the tightness adjustment. I'm sure there are other products out there that focus on this aspect specifically but I had not checked before buying this.

Great product for what it does. Solid strap protection to help you in not dropping your camera. Really easy to attach and adjust. Takes so getting used to - found it best to swing the strap to back of camera, then slip you hand in and rotate. Once it's on, the camera feels stably in your hand preventing accidental drops.

The strap works great for getting shots in any position or angle. Helps keep the camera on my hand without the cumbersome extra length. However, it is not designed for larger hands. When adjusted as large at it will go, it can come lose as the end of the strap slips thru the fastener.

I really like the Case Logic Quick Grip DSLR Camera Hand Strap and I'd probably give it 5 stars were it not for the fact that it does not come with a mountable screw to attach to the bottom of the camera. In other words the thumb screw that attaches to the bottom of the camera does not itself have mounting threads that would allow you to install the strap and then mount the unit on a tripod plate or other such device without having to disconnect the hand strap. That said the device works as advertised and that's about all a consumer can ask for.

using this camera hand strap makes taking pictures a lot easier. Easy to attach and is very strong. I don't worry about it breaking because it's made of sturdy material. I can hold using only one hand now that I have this strap. Great price.

My camera Sony DSC HX-400V is too large to carry in my pocket. I'm able to use this strap and carry the camera behind my back. It allows me to get unstaged and great shots.
