    Broke after 11 months

When we first got this product, this was a God send. Everything worked as advertised. But on the 10th month, we noticed the "air fry" mode didnt work. Just turn to air fry, and set the timer, and nothing happens. No fan, no elements heating up. That was fine since there was two other air fry modes to use, and we mostly use air fry bake. Today, i just noticed that the dial will not turn to toast or left of toast. So, we are only stuck with two modes only, bake or air fry bake. For the price paid for this device, i expected it to last more than 11 months. Thank God its not the 12 month and outside of the warranty. Before, this would have gotten 5 stars, now 1 star is the minimum i can give it. Especially for not lasting a year for this price.

Really enjoying the “air fryer” cooking setting on this appliance. So far I’ve cooked a cauliflower crust pizza and a couple bacon wrapped steaks with the air fryer setting and both came out very good. I made the mistake of using the cooking pan instead of directly putting the pizza on the rack – so bottom crust wasn’t done as quickly as the cheese and toppings. Rookie mistake – just put the pizza on the rack directly. Also with the air fryer setting it cooked in almost half the time as the “conventional oven” instructions - so keep an eye on it the first time you try that setting. I made some bacon wrapped steaks and they came out perfect. Just put seasoned steaks onto the included air fryer stainless tray, put raw bacon on top and then air fried at 425 for about 20 minutes. Steaks and bacon were cooked perfect and had a really nice browned exterior. (see pics). Pros: Really like the air fry setting and it seems to cook a fair amount faster than traditional baking Large capacity – it has room to cook 2 separate dishes at the same time (one on the rack and one on the pan) Cons: With its large capacity, comes a bigger than normal toaster footprint. (It’s about the same width as a standard toaster oven, but taller) Analog dials – definitely less precise than digital and the cook timer has to be set past 20 mins and then adjusted back down (if you are cooking for less than 20) for the timer bell to ring. Seems a bit archaic. No “pre-heat” mode or beep – probably due to a limitation of the analog controls, but if you want to pre-heat you’ll need to set a different timer for say 5 mins to let it get up to heat. Overall have liked trying out the new convection and air frying settings and looking forward to testing it out with some other traditional fry type foods like wings, fries, etc.

I really like this Toaster oven/ air fryer. i used to have a toaster oven and it really wasn't that big on the inside. But the footprint was kinda ugly. The CHEFMAN Toast-Air is actually larger on the inside and out, but you really save space somehow. That's awesome! I think the only really problem is the price. I personally think it hits the sweet spot for such an innovative kitchen appliance. $199.99 is a worthy price for what you get. As always I like to leave a link to my full online review. So here ya go. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wUgSOxttoaubGBat12o8MWom5DW81Za0UCh0fXyOmqo/edit?usp=sharing I'm also going to leave a link to my unboxing on You Tube. https://youtu.be/oIPERwTBM2k Something new I'm doing. I hate heating up the whole house just to cook a small meal for one and a toaster oven/air fryer usually does the trick, but they're usually not big enough to do more than one item at once! This changes all that! Last night I was able to cook chicken strips and tater tots at the same time without the whole house getting hot from the oven, used no oil, and everything turned out nice and crisp as if it had been fried - not to mentioned tasted great! Immediately following I threw in a frozen deep-dish cheese pizza to be used as lunch for today and I have to admit, it too came out perfectly with the crust a golden brown and everything cooked through and through. My only complain (and it's definitely a small complaint) - there's a handle included that can be used to grip and slide the wire rack in and out of the oven - why not give us a slot or something to attach that to on the oven, taking away the risk that we can't find the handle when we need it the most? Overall this is a great addition to our kitchen - loving it!

I just have to say the Chefman 26.4qt Toaster oven is great. I have cooked Thin crust Pizza, made delicious Pillsbury Orange rolls and there’s so much more. This Toaster oven is great. It has regular Bake, Broil and warm settings as well as the same for convection settings as well. It also includes an Air Fry setting as well. It comes with 12 recipes for delicious but to be honest just making home-cooked Pizza is a game-changer. It evenly cooked the pizza and did it in half the time is amazing. It was also delicious. I can’t wait to try all the recipes in the book. This product was on sale for $148.99 and the reg price was $199.99. This product works right outside the box and is not hard to use at all. I would recommend this to everyone that likes their food cooked properly and fast. Great product…

The Chefman 7-in-1 cooker is the most versatile cooker in our house. The machine itself is a very classy looking countertop oven. The brushed stainless steel front, with large knobs, and large glass window in the door, makes this look like someone shrunk a full size high end oven. The non stick interior makes cleaning pretty easy. However the basket, rack and crumb tray are not non-stick, so they might require a little bit of soaking depending on what gets on them. The first thing I cooked, was actually just a slice of toast. There is definitely room for 6 slices, but I wasn't that hungry. I left the rack on the lower level, and was surprised that both sides were toasted the same, and very evenly. There is also plenty of height in this mini oven, so toasting bagel halves or even bagel sandwiches would work with ease. I next tried some frozen chicken wings using the recipe in the included book. They came out fully cooked and juicy. The exterior was slightly crisp, but not that much. It could have been because of the type of frozen wings I used. I like my wings very crispy, so I turned up the temp to the max setting, and cooked them for another 10 minutes. They came out perfect, very crispy on the outside, and still a little juicy on the inside. I also tried air frying a few unseasoned wings, the left side of the tray had no oils, and the right side had a light mist of olive oil. Both sides seemed to crisp up the same. I really like how well air frying works with no oils. (I am including some pictures of the cooked wings.) All functions of this oven work great, the only limitation I could possibly foresee would be the 60 minute cooking timer, but nothing I would cook would even come close to that. So far everything cooked has come out great, with a little tweaking for my personal preferences. The most important thing to keep in mind is that you need to use the right cooking function for the right foods. If you are not sure, try looking on the internet for recipes specifically designed for the type of cooking you are doing. They say that chicken wings and small sections of meat, fries and chips turn out really good in the air fryer. They also say that because air fryers don't force hot air down on top of food, it cooks quicker, without drying out foods, so souffles, cookies and baked goods turn out great also. You can even cook hard boiled eggs without the water. Some foods to NOT cook with the air fryer would be fresh vegetables, battered goods, and foods with loose seasoning. The convection oven setting is very similar to the air fryer, except it takes a little longer to cook, and can dry out certain foods. Works well for roasts, roasted veggies, pizzas, casseroles and sheet pan dinners, as well as other dishes that you would want cooked evenly. Convection ovens recirculate the heated air, giving a more consistent temperature throughout the oven. But are not good for cooking cakes, quick breads, custards, or soufflés. For everything else you can use the regular bake or broil setting for traditional oven cooking. The drip pan can even be used to hold water for steaming foods in the basket.

This toaster oven really does the trick. Before I get into the functional review, I want to make note that this toaster oven/air fryer has a top notch artwork on the box. I have owned other small appliances before, but never before have i seen a company jazz up their exterior presentation, the unboxing was quite pleasant too. When it comes to quality there are a couple of key features that this unit provides, size and strength. The oven it self has all of its features and mechanics stored compactly into its compact body, and please keep in mind that this oven is smaller than most microwaves i have owned. The dials are clear and obvious and drew no questions out of me. The heading and frying components of this machine also is superior to most that i have see or used in my past. The rack are easy to slide out and clean too. I use tin foil, thought to save on the clean up thats needed. Next, the physical aspect of this fryer is sturdy, not flimsy like other small appliances but build in a sturdy material with a solid design. As mentioned above, the racks are solid and not easily bendable either. The sleek stainless steal look is also a nice touch. Sturdy build in a compact, efficient designs are the primary reasons why i recommend this product.

After a little over a year the door spring got loose, door doesn't keep open anymore. in order to reattach the spring you have to dismantle the whole oven. No technical support from Chefman. It's going to TRASH now. Buy a different brand!

Small Powerhouse, On A Daily Basis

PROS: • Size • Cooking options • Usefulness on a daily basis CONS: • Would be better if the temperature went up to 500F to better broil • It needs an over interior light that stays on when the door is cracked open, to see the food • Not necessarily a con, but the oven comes with a small book of recipes. I wish it had a few more recipes included. REVIEW: I was attracted to the product due to its multiple functions. I’ve missed having a toaster oven, but my decision was based a lot on the air fryer, so I could make better meal choices for my family and I. I love this product, and I’ve used it a lot since I got it. It’s great when I’m cooking just for myself, so I don’t have to turn on the full-size oven, but gives me a great deal of versatility when I’m cooking for my two kids or a few friends. I like the fact that I can use it to toast in the morning. But it truly shines through in terms of its utility, when I’m cooking dinner for my family. If you routinely cook, it can be frustrating when you want to cook two different things, each with its own temperature, that will bake both items correctly at the same temperature. If I’m making a roast in the regular oven, the Chefman if perfect for baking rolls or roasting vegetables. I’ve cooked a 2lb turkey and a 3lb ham in it. I’ve roasted vegetables, baked cookies, warmed pizza, made toast, and made smores. The air fryer works great too; I’ve made seasoned steak fries, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, and fish, to name a few things. Before I got it, I wasn’t sure how I’d adapt recipes to air frying, but it’s actually quite easy. Since I had no previous cooking experience with air frying, I’m impressed at the functionality. I do wish that the temperature range went up to 500F to better broil things. The Chefman cooks things, for the most part, quite evenly. The interior of the oven cleans up very well. It comes with a baking rack, air fryer basket, and broil pan. I think for what you will typically use the oven for, those three things are all you need. Paired with some parchment paper, clean-up is a breeze. The fact that the pans are safe for the top shelf of the dishwasher is perfect. I did buy small pyrex glass pans, a small baking pan, and a few ramekins. The Chefman comes with an interior light, that comes on when the door is open, however, when the door is open, the oven goes off until the door is shut. I understand that it’s a safety issue, so I wish there was a switch to turn on the light to check the food, while keeping the door closed. Not a biggie, just a future improvement. I am very satisfied with this product.

The Chefman Toaster Oven Air Fryer arrived at my office and created quite a stir. We're in Southern California and everyone has been talking about the health advantages of air frying. We immediately sent someone out to get frozen French fries and chocolate chip cookie dough (I mean, we Californians still indulge, we just do it more responsibly!) The Chefman was easy to set-up. Just find a space and plug it in. It comes with a shallow wire basket, a drip tray, broil/baking pan, wire rack and a utensil to assist in placing and removing those pieces to prevent burns. They also provide recipe suggestions. Nice. Dial Controls featured on the stainless steel front (matte black sides and top) are: Timer, Temperature (200-450 degrees F), Cooking Function (Warn/Broil/Convection Broil/Bake/Convection Bake/Air Fry), and Toast Timer. It's really easy to use thanks to the very clear cooking functions. One challenge - learning to adjust cooking times with the air fryer! Easy to resolve with a quick online search. The reason is the air fryer moves air at a high rate, thus giving the crispiness without adding oil. So you just need to drop the temperature and cooking times a little. You can't mess up, there's a nice window and internal lighting. We LOVED the results we obtained...and now we eat fries and cookies far too often!

I love this oven's versatility and easy of use. It is a little bigger than a regular toaster oven, but looks good and easily tucks under my upper cabinets on the counter (it is about 14" high). The included air fry basket, non stick pan, and tool for removing the hot tray all work well and are easy to clean. I have used this oven to cook: - Cookies on convection oven setting. Crispy outside, with perfect center and reduced cooking time by 30%. - Air fried zucchini with panko.Crispy and no oil. - Air fried hot wings. The basket held 12 at a time, all of the oil drained into the pan, and they came out much better than oven baked. - Reheated pizza just like a regular toaster oven. Easy, with a 5min preheat, this was much quicker than my full size oven and the large window, with interior light let me easily see when it was ready. Things to Consider - It is a little bigger than some other separate air fryers and toaster ovens, but it does offer a more volume and could replace a few things that you already have on your counter (toaster, toaster oven, and air fryer). - It does get a bit warm on the top and sides, but shouldn't be a problem as long as you leave enough space. - If you want the timer to ding, you have to take it past 20min then set it to your actual cook time (I couldn't figure this out until I read the instructions). - The interior light is only on while cooking, but works great. I am really happy with this oven and I am trying to convince my wife to get rid of our toaster right now to secure it a permanent place on the counter.

Finally found a countertop oven I can live with. Tried a few others and promptly returned them. Have only had it for 2 days but loving it so far. First did a few dry runs to see how hot it gets, Nd it does get hot at very edges. Sides are manageable. Handle in front stays cool. Made toast and it was perfect. Air fried chicken nuggets and fries, again was perfect. Making cookies now is a breeze. Don't need to heat up big oven. And on nights where time is limited or just want comfort food, a frozen pizza fits perfectly. I am looking forward to all the multitude of things to cook in it. As for function, there is a light that is on when oven is one but turns off when door is open. The dials are simple and easy to use. Yay. I would prefer digital but simple is good. Fool proof. The timer is kinda annoying. The ticking but you get used to it. Oh, it is QUIET! That is a plus. Loving my new kitchen toy.

Pizza, bread sticks, french fries, fried okra, and wings have all turned out great with the air fryer! It took me a few tries to figure out how long to cook things, and I am impressed with the results. The size is ample to cook for 2 or 3 adults. My only complaint is that the dial timer is difficult to adjust for a specific amount of time, but I have been able to work around that. However, when I need to replace this one, or if I give another one as a gift, I will be sure to go digital, not analog. Still, I am happy to recommend this because of how well it works.

Excellent toaster oven and amazing air fryer! There are some quirks, compared to most basic toaster ovens but, after reading through the operation instructions everything is incredibly easy to use! Using the oven, there are zero "hot spots" and everything is cooked perfectly and evenly. The air fryer makes for crispy and delicious food, you'd never guess that it was fried without cooking oil! The included pans are very easy to clean and seem quite durable. My favorite feature so far is the oven light! This seems like such a small feature for a toaster over but using a toaster oven more than my actual oven, the similar features are an incredibly nice thing to have! I would highly recommend this for anyone who cooks a lot with a toaster over and would also like to have an air fryer but might not have the available counter space for two separate machines!

Bought this for its larger capacity and replacing my toaster oven and smaller air fryer. Quality appears to be good and it is quiet. I was looking at also Cusinart TOA60, but opted for this one for its larger capacity, less moving parts and analog controls. Like others have pointed out, before using it, wiped the inside first and then set it at the highest temperature and air fry mode for a good 20 minutes or so to get rid of the oil residue or whatever it is (open the windows of your place as well). Very easy to clean the wire basket and pan, just soaked them and lightly scrubbing. Chicken wings (air fry 400 degree for 20 minutes) and sweet potatoes (400 degree 40 minutes) came out perfect and no need to turn them. The color of the attached picture of the wing drumettes are actually more yellower than they were.

My wife asked me to find a replacement for our old toaster oven. did some checking and found this to be a pretty good option. When we got it home, WOW, much bigger than our previous oven. overall a good design. had to let the new smoke off before use, common and a good thing to do. about 15 min. on high fan to get any stink out. Have been using for 4 months. actually can cook a full chicken in it. many used for biscuits, fries, fish. works much faster with the fan and allows for uniform cooking. only draw backs that I see is that the light goes out as soon as you open the door. you must pull the tray out to see your food. light is only for looking through window. The other is where the controls are located. Don't ever try to adjust controls while door is open after starting. you stand a good chance of getting very hot or burned hands. close door before adjusting. trust me, you will learn quickly. just like a big oven. We are totally happy with this toaster oven. makes light meals a breeze to heat up.

Wasn't totally convinced on an air fryer, especially at the prices, but decided if we got one, it would be big enough for two people and easy to use - got it in this item! Not a fan of dials, but this works well: heats fast, instant shut-off when door is opened, quick cool-down when done and a easy to see-through window. The 1 drawback is the timer knob - you can't turn it off so once you set the time, that's the time the oven will cook - no turning it off - so if you have time left, set the temp to the lowest and just let the fans start cooling it down. GREAT value for the price and very happy with the product!!
