Good game, fairly repetitive but that comes with the territory. Much better than any madden games in recent memory

First things first , all these people leaving 1 star reviews because they didn’t get their preorder on time, please stop! That has nothing to do with the game. So please stop crushing the review scores because your mad at Best buy or the post office. Back to the game: is it perfect, no. But the most important thing to note is that it plays nothing like Madden and feels like the game we remember from 2014. Tackling and hitting feels great. The way the QBs sling the ball around look and feel awesome. Running in this game is tight. Very nice controls that at times feel overpowered, but not so much that it detracts from the fun factor. And a lot of fun it is. The college atmosphere is terrific. From the customized team specific entrance routines to the crowd chants, marching bands, mascots, etc. You can tell that a lot of thought and care went into this game and it is greatly appreciated. So glad to have the series back and looking forward to rhe continuation of growth moving forward. This should also help push Madden in the right direction by creating a healthy competition between the developers to make each game better and better. Great to see this and excited for what lies ahead!

After an 11-year hiatus, EA Sports College Football 25 has stormed back onto the scene, delivering a love letter to college football fans that’s as exhilarating as a game-winning touchdown in overtime. This long-awaited revival captures the heart and soul of the sport with stunning authenticity, addictive gameplay, and a level of detail that makes every moment feel like a Saturday showdown in a packed stadium. A Orlando has meticulously recreated the pageantry of college football, from the roar of the crowd to team-specific traditions like Pitt’s infamous “Meow” or West Virginia’s Mountaineer Field complete with coonskin-cap-wearing fans.
In the end, College Football 25 is a touchdown for fans who’ve waited over a decade for its return. It’s not just nostalgia—it’s a modern, polished, and deeply engaging sports game that captures the chaos, passion, and strategy of college football

College Football 25 brings the return of college football gaming after a long hiatus, and it’s clear EA has put effort into creating an experience that captures the excitement and pageantry of college football. Here’s a breakdown of the key elements that make this game stand out, along with a few areas where it could still improve.
Graphics & Presentation
On the PS5, the graphics are nothing short of stunning. Stadiums look lifelike, with fans waving flags, marching bands performing, and team colors bright and vibrant. EA has done a remarkable job in bringing the college atmosphere to life, and the enhanced hardware of the PS5 allows for smooth gameplay, detailed player models, and realistic animations.
Gameplay Mechanics
The gameplay is responsive and fluid, and the new engine shows off the hard work put into physics and player movements. The control scheme feels intuitive, especially for veteran players familiar with the Madden series. However, College Football 25 introduces some unique plays and formations true to the college game, which add variety and authenticity. Each school’s style, from Georgia’s dominant defense to Oregon’s high-speed offense, feels unique and plays to the strengths of its real-world counterpart.
Dynasty Mode
Dynasty Mode is back and better than ever, allowing players to recruit, train, and manage a team over multiple seasons. It’s rewarding to build up a program from a lesser-known school or maintain the dominance of a powerhouse like Georgia or Alabama. The scouting and recruiting systems are deep but accessible, letting you focus on assembling a team that fits your vision.
Road to Glory Mode
Road to Glory mode provides a single-player experience that lets you build your own college football journey, starting from high school and working through the challenges of earning a starting spot in college. This mode feels a bit like a story-driven RPG, with decision-making elements that can affect your career. It’s a fun addition that adds more depth to the game and provides replay value as you can take different paths and play for different schools.
Atmosphere & Authenticity
EA has managed to recreate the electrifying college football environment with crowd chants, fight songs, and unique traditions for each school. The game includes real college coaches, rivalries, and even college playoff formats, making each game feel as if it’s part of a larger season. EA’s focus on authenticity is clear, and it’s thrilling to hear stadium chants and school songs echo as you make key plays.
Room for Improvement
One area where College Football 25 could improve is in the commentary, which sometimes feels generic and can repeat too often over a long season. Also, while the game is immersive, there are occasional glitches, such as players clipping or odd AI decisions

I’ve been playing College Football 25 on PS5 and I’m loving it so far. The gameplay feels smooth, the atmosphere is electric, and it really captures the energy of college football in a way that’s been missing for years. The team customization, crowd noise, and school traditions add a ton of depth, and it’s just been a blast jumping back into dynasty mode. If you’re a fan of college ball, this one’s absolutely worth the wait.

As an RPG-and-story-driven gamer, College Football 25 wasn't even on my radar. I don't keep up with college football, and I have little experience with sports games beyond button-mashing when friends foist a controller in front of me. When I decided to take a chance on playing this game out of curiosity, as well as some peer pressure, I found myself actually really enjoying myself.
First of all, the presentation is fantastic. From the electric stadium crowds to the individual player animations, CFB 25 absolutely gets college football right. It’s not just the graphics; it’s the vibe. The game gets that hectic, emotional, and near-ritualistic feel that is college athletics. As an outsider, I found myself becoming swept away.
The thing that actually drew me in, though, was the Dynasty mode. There's no need to be an NFL aficionado in order to enjoy creating a team from scratch through the process of recruiting players, allocating resources, and planning for the future in an almost management sim-like way, which resonated with me. It also provided an added motivation for caring about something other than "win the game next."
Gameplay is certainly going to have a small learning curve, but the game does its best to acclimate you. I never once had the sensation of being overwhelmed, even when I didn't have all the plays down. Difficulty modes and assist options are available so that if you're not used to playing the football mechanics, they can help. And once you begin to master reading defenses or executing a flawless pass, it is just as satisfying.chatgpt use
The commentary and sound design are also worthy of praise. They provide an added layer of immersion I wasn't anticipating. Although I wasn't deeply attached to either team, I did feel the stakes because the game sold the drama so well.
Last Thoughts: College Football 25 convinced me even though I have absolutely no experience playing sports games. It’s user-friendly, fun, and actually pretty in-depth. Try it out if you’re like I was, on the fence—you could find yourself screaming like an avid fan in no time.

This is the first time I ever played a football game since NFL Blitz, it's overall fun but I don't have football knowledge or IQ to play. I think if you're an avid fan of this series and American football, it's a great game. I played casually offline for most of the time. I do like how there are a diversity of plays and teams to choose from also.

Packaged very well. No damage upon arrival and was exactly what I wanted! College Football 25 is the go-to game for players sick of the yearly Madden titles, a refreshing take on the genre and a game that fans have been asking for years!

Great game, couldn’t wait for college to come back. Loved beating ohio state with michigan. Game play was smooth, play calls and highlights were great. Hard to put down once you start playing.
