The guys who fixed the remote starter was great and explained clearly on how everything (remote starting and take off works. And now I am happy to get into an already warm car during these cold mornings.

Great product.. locks,unlocks,starts vehicle as it should.. local installation was not available so had to travel about an hour away... which was no big deal was planning a little get away anyway... the install was quick, took them an hour an a half to do... very friendly ... very happy with product and installation...

I bought this starter during Christmas but I missed out on the 2 way transmitter deal. It was $50 cheaper but given the track record I have with Compustar I knew it was still a good deal. It took about 2 weeks to get an appointment for the install, but definitely worth it now that the temps have dropped! It’s really easy to use, hold down to let it start double click to open the doors and 1 click to lock. If you want to turn it off just hold it down again. You do have to point to it, but again I missed the 2 way deal which I had before and you can start it from a longer distance without pointing to the car. I’m very satisfied with this starter and probably would buy it again for my next car in the future. I think maybe this model serves it’s purpose and don’t need to spend the extra to get that 2 way benefit for my use.

took an extra day to get into my car. and I have to use two remotes, plus have to turn car off before I can unlock the doors. its more my car then the actual remote start from what I am told. we have this on another car and no issues.

This remote starter works just fine in my Ford Transit 350. It's very standard. No super-amazing options (I REALLY wish it was 2-way), but that's ok. It fits a price point and I don't feel even a little disappointed with the money I spent. This came with free install at the time I bought it, not sure if that's a regular thing or not, but it was for me. I had purchased one for my wife for her birthday, then got myself one 6 months later. It's been a solid product with fairly good range and consistency.

I have been using the CompuStar 1-Way Remote Starter for a month now and I like it very much. Recently I moved and my car does not have a garage any longer. This gadget has alleviated my worries of scraping ice and clean light snow from my car. The only thing is that as soon as I open the door it stops. But by then, the car is warm.
