I've used this product since version 8, before Corel bought it. I have always had great success with it. I'm trying to get deeper into the product and learn more of what it can do. I've used it to touch up lots of scans of old photos to remove spots, tears and blemishes. Works for me.

This is a reasonably capable photo editor. In this price range I think GIMP is the best option. Where it excels is add ons. You can apply canned effects. For actual photo editing it's just so so. The RAW editing capability is almost nonexistent. You can buy an fancier version of the RAW processor for cheap but you'll do better with RawTherapee for free. Basic dark/light and color manipulation are OK if not outstanding. You'll be able to improve the quality of pictures but there are other more capable choices. In packaged software in this tier the 2 best choices are Affinity Photo and Photoshop Elements. You can't go too wrong with the open source duo of GIMP and RawTherapee if you don't mind something on the geeky side.

I didn't want to pay the monthly photoshop fee so I bought this instead. It is a good editing program just wish there were more free tutorials for it. I could spend more money for tutorials from PaintShop but don't want to spend another $200 on that. Might have been cheaper to pay the $10 a month, there are ton of free tutorials on photoshop. I use them and tweak them for PaintShop

I've used Corel Photo Paint for over a decade and have always liked it. It has all the power of the best photo programs, but comes at a great price. Plus it's not requiring a yearly cloud subscription, yea!

I had an older version of photoshop. I got the subscription but didn't like the newer version and it froze up constantly so I didn't update. I had v7 of paint shop but the interface was hard. This seems a lot like photoshop. More intuitive. Add ons that come with it work great.

I bought this for my son who is a graphic designer to use until he can afford to get the graphics software. It seems to do everything he needs. I have the PSP 7 and it has all I need. The PSPX8 Ultimate has more of the software he needs.

Needed to have off-shore Corel resources perform the install since Corel disabled to brick and mortar vendors when Corel released 2018. Learning curve is a little steep but Corel sends daily videos and there is much web info.

Loved this software. Being minimal in time for past projects, it was perfect and easy to work with and gave a great final photo

I got this when it was on sale. I already use Adobe Photoshop CS6 and I thought this would be a nice little quick and dirty photo editing software on one of my portables. For $10 how wrong could I be?

This program is a great alternative to full on photoshop for anyone doing simpler tasks.

have found this software to be very interesting, some of the plug ends are giving me a problem in the access and downloading end. still working on it we will see

I've been using this suite since it first came out. Highly recommend it for someone looking for an inexpensive alternative to Photoshop.

So far I have only used this for a few pictures. I used the automatic function to improve some images. Seems to do a good job. I tried a function of removing power pole and lines from image. I am not sure I did it correctly. I hate to say this but I probably need to read instructions to get better at product. As with any product with this many features, practice.

I haven't used this since it's a Christmas gift, but it came quickly, and I've heard good things about it for a beginner.

Paintshop Pro is a great program for editing photos. The newer version had faster and more options to edit photos.

I've wanted a program for my pictures for a while and this product fit not only my budget but my needs as well.

Every household should have this to enhance their photos which will be lifelong treasures.

Excellent product. I use this to touch-up pictures before I put them into video slideshows in Corel Video Studio Ultimate X10. Then I give copies of the slideshows to my friends for memories of weddings, vacations, graduations, and other important life events.

This software does everything I need to create, fix, and update photos.
