Customers commend the Force Series 2TB PCIe Gen 4 x4 NVMe Internal Solid State Drive's performance. However, some customers found the included heatsink to be quite large and potentially incompatible with certain motherboards. The heatsink's size presented a challenge for some users in terms of physical space constraints. This suggests that while the drive itself is well-regarded, potential buyers should consider the dimensions of the heatsink before purchase.

I recently started getting into 3D rendering, which is CPU intensive. While looking for a 12+ core monster chip, I stumbled across this Corsair Force Series MP600. It fit perfectly with the PCIe Gen 4.0 motherboard I was planning on buying, so it all worked out. I previously owned a Samsung 960 Pro NVMe M.2 512GB which was capable of 3500 MB/s read and 2000 MB/s write. After looking over the specs for the Corsair Force MP600, I was obviously overdue for an upgrade.
512GB, 3500 read, 2000 write
VS.
2TB, 4950 read, 4250 write
I hadn’t upgraded my gear since early 2018, so I had some pennies saved up. Additionally, the cost of storage per GB, at the time of my MP600 purchase, was considerably less compared to 2018. I paid $299 +tax for the 512 GB 960 Pro back in January 2018. For less than $100 more, I got the 2TB MP600 in the summer of 2020. My how times have changed. I can’t wait to look back over this review years from now to compare the cost and capability of tech in the future.
Back to the present time: Since the price was a steal (compared to 2018) I bought two of the 2TB MP600s and, as it stands, I am completely satisfied with my purchase. No more moving high-resolution RAW images to an external hard drive to save space. Additionally, transferring files from my previous drives to the MP600s was a breeze. When transferring files from the 960 Pro to the MP600, I was able to consistently transfer files at speeds of 1.5 - 2 GB/s. I transferred 120+ GB of high-resolution RAW images in minutes. No more drag, drop, then go do something else while waiting for a 30-minute transfer.
In addition to the transfer tests, I ran the obligatory CrystalDiskMark benchmark which can be seen in the included screenshots (and seen in several other reviews). I set out to increase my storage capacity, increase performance, and do a little future-proofing. Based on the performance, the relative newness of PCIe 4.0, and the generous 5-year warranty, I see this investment going the distance. And by that, I mean I’ll be back in 2-3 years with whatever else is new. Long story long: This has been a positive buying experience.

I bought this last month and paired it with my new motherboard. The price seemed mind-boggling, but once you use it, you see why it costs so much. it's convenient for space. It hooks right into the PCIE slot, so no fooling with a SATA cable. The boot speed is FAST! My computer boot up under 10 seconds every time.
If you're building a PCIE 4.0 system, this is a great NVMe drive to get. Worth the price.

This is my third one and it works great, very speedy. I'm not using the included heat sink on any of them and instead I'm using the heat sinks that came on the motherboard and the DIMM.2 module. Temperatures are in the upper 20s C for the one in the DIMM.2 module and in the mid-30s C for the two on the motherboard with minimal use. Up to 47 C on motherboard and 34 C on the DIMM.2 module running ATTO Disk Benchmark. Up to 3.99 GB/s / 92.25K IO/s writes and 5.24 GB/s / 99.04K IO/s reads in ATTO Disk Benchmark.

Ive got a wd black 1tb m.2 and this Corsair 2tb m.2 as my only drives in my new build and this is easily the fastest thing i have ever used in a computer. Used it for a few weeks now and it has been rock solid so far. Price is a little high but that is just because of the pcie4.0 is so new and it will start to drop when there are more options other than this and the Aurous drives for pcie4.0

Not a lot to say: it just works great right out of the box, as it should.
I got it as a second drive for a new tower PC. Subjectively, the PCIE 4.0 drive seems much quicker (as it should be) than the Samsung Evo 850 Sata SSD I had on the previous computer.
I didn't do any benchmarking to quantify the results, but there are several sources of such data online which confirm this is a very quick drive.
I've used a lot of Corsair equipment (computer cases, memory, SSDs, USB Sticks, power supplies) over the past several years, and none of them have failed so far.

Excellent Speeds and performance.
This probably won't fit if you plan on using it with a MSI Frozr shield or other type of built-in M.2 heat spreader since it has it's own.

So, the install was a royal pain. Some of that is because of the PC that I am using. I have the ASUS ROG GA35 and it had an extra empty M.2 slot on the motherboard. One issue with this SSD is the factory built-in heatsink. It is a fair bit larger than most heatsinks, if your PC/Motherboard already has on, I recommend removing corsairs heatsink and using the one you have already.
Make sure your careful when removing the heatsink.

This was a wise choice. Other NVME drives were on sale and this one was on the pricer side. Go hard or go home right? Easy install, fast drive.

I bought this drive because of the reviews that I read and the reviews are true. This drive is quick and takes no time when copying or backing up information onto the drive.
And I love the part where there are no moving parts.
And I love the capacity. It has the space that I need. I will not need to buy any additional drives for storage anytime soon.

This is reall fast nvme2 ssd. I use it with an asrock x570 motherboard designed to work with pci express 4.0 slot/lane
It is not cheap but it really fast with my ryzen 9 3900x cpu also purchased from Best Buy. This Diy build is the most up to date high end build I have owned. I am a happy camper.

I used this 2TB PCIe NNMe SSD in a new computer build. The morther board I used had a heat sink for the SSD which was thick and heay but could not use it because this SSd comes with an heatsink. Not not shure whicc one could have been better, The MB one has a large mass but the one on the Corsair has more surface area.

Fast SSD, drive migration software it came with did not work well though. Also heat sink is very thick, might not fit depending on how your motherboard is designed

Blazing fast speeds, competitive price for a flagship PCIE 4.0 NVMe drive (Phison controller). One downsidr is that many motherboards habe their own heatsinks so you have to choose...

Normally, I can't see the speed difference when I get faster drives. The speed of this HD is quite noticeable, & I could tell the difference the 1st time I booted up.
