The battery life is outstanding, all the buttons are responsive, nearly zero input lag, and it’s very comfortable for palm grips. Instantly easy to set up and assign buttons in iCue. My only gripe is that it tends to “forget” it’s programming once in a while and I have to turn it off and back on to get the button assignments back.

Good wireless gaming mouse for the price

So far so good been using it for about two weeks. I have my gaming PC hooked up to my big screen in the living room. I normally play with an Xbox elite controller or steam controller but there are a few games where I want to use a mouse. I upgraded from a Logitech 603 and this is a huge upgrade. I have used it about 15 to 20 hours and still has a good charge to it. I have not noticed any problems with the wireless response. The DPI speed crazy good. The button click feels nice. There is a lot of options on the lighting that is adjustable. Few reasons why I chose this mouse first was the price picked it up on sale for $50 which I think is a good price point since I don't use it a lot for gaming, I already have the Corsair wireless keyboard so I have the Corsair software downloaded, the fact it can use the wireless slip stream or Bluetooth although Bluetooth you will lose some performance but gain battery life, I really like the fact you can use it wireless or with a cord for some reason a lot of wireless mouses you can not use them while wired or plugged in. Now for the the bad. The battery level is only available in the system tray and it only reads low med and high I wish that I could have one of the lights change colors and the the battery drains not a huge deal. Also I have read some reviews saying that the mouse wheel can break I have not had any issues but would recommend getting the protection just in case. All and all I would recommend this mouse especially if it is on sale.

I was looking for a easy to operate gaming mouse with good battery life and also easy on my hand. This one fits nicely in your palm and the buttons are in great positions for gaming. I highly recommend.

    Ironclaw - Does it compare?

Got this to replace a Logitech G602. The Ironclaw feels nice - literally, the size and shape of it does conform well to the fit of the hand. The button lay out does leave a lot to be desired, to me. The group of three buttons on the side of the mouse were difficult to navigate, and I do not have large hands at all. The RGB lighting was pretty, but the only other use I really had for it was modifying the lighting based on the profile I was using (so I knew how the buttons were mapped). On a side-ish note, the Corsair software was a pain to learn - but once I did learn the process of adjusting settings, it was "easy enough". The biggest downfall to me is that this mouse absolutely feels "cheap". For the price, I'd expect something more similar to the Logitech G602, and perhaps it's just from coming to this Ironclaw from that mouse, but it's just "cheap plastic". Did not care for that. I ended up returning it and "upgrading" to a non-gaming centric mouse.

Not a bad mouse, has lots of button options in varying spots and is great for big hands. Has nice solid feeling construction, not thin and cheap plastic. If you like your mouse bulkier and more on the heavy side, I recommend!

As a big fan of Corsair, I had high expectations going in. It's a comfortable mouse, with good build quality (typical for Corsair), The ICue software, as usual, adds great customization. but that's where the good ends and the bad begins... The button placement looked appealing to me, but they wound up feeling very awkward. Also, the inclusion of a micro USB port rather than USB-C makes this mouse a less than stellar effort on Corsair's part. My least favorite of their current offerings.

      Hello,

And thanks for the feedback. Sorry to hear about the button placement not being the best for you. Regarding the lack of type C charging port was normal for the time this was designed/first offered in and pictures on sales page clearly outline it, unfortunate to have been missed before purchase. This mouse is excellent, it pairs quickly, connects quickly from switching off to on, has an idle mode to save battery when you inevitably go AFK, customizable LEDs and DPI settings on the fly. Great battery life so far, charging it even less than once a week. Comfortable grip.

As someone with large hands, this is exactly what I've been looking for. Subtly clicky, responsive scroll wheel. Just the right amount of extra buttons for navigation and gaming. Flexible wireless modes are useful, no noticeable lag on the 2.4ghz channel. The USB charging cord is braided and seems sturdy. Unfortunately the rubber grips wear down quickly - after several months spots have rubbed away on the pinky and thumb rests. I would also like to see more visible notification that the mouse is about to run out of battery - the three lights on the side are used to display the charge level, but if you're holding the mouse, you aren't likely to notice, which makes charging ahead of time important unless you plan on plugging it in while using.

Used many LogiTech M510 mice . This Corsair fits Very nice in the hand, slightly better than a M510 and I love the multiple buttons. Pros: -wireless -programmable buttons -quick setup for dpi up/down -quick setup for choosing between 3 setups - rechargeable built-in battery - 3x programmable RGB areas - some metal pieces in outer shell - came with charging cable AND adapter Cons: -Charge does not hold as long as my AA batteries in my M510 - average sturdiness (in my opinion; have not tested that...)

The mouse itself is quite large. After playing CS Go for so long it seems like the buttons get loose. I had to do a retrun to corsair as it crossed the 1 month grace period for BB return, but the CS was helpful to replace it. Battery life is good for wireless use. Wired usage is also not an issue

So this mouse I like a lot, is nice for my big hands and it has many buttons. It feels pretty tough of a mouse and love the patterns for grip on it. However the first mouse I had, ran into an issue with the left click button. It started double clicking every 3 to 5 clicks. Making it hard to play games because it will drag my skills icons down and so on. It also made it hard to work from home with i because it would mess up my documents with the double click and games. Out side of that was not able to clear the issue with a firmware flash giving to me by Corsair. I did get a second one replacement due to geek squad protection. So far second one working okay.

I dont necessarily need all of the extra buttons for gaming, but they come in handy if you want to use them as shortcuts for any editing software. I've tried a dozen mice over the past 3-4 years and this is the most comfortable for my medium to large hands and wireless works great. No lag compared to wired whatsoever. Hoping Corsair keeps this style around for a long time. Software could use some work though. Not the most user friendly applying and saving settings but you get used to its quirkiness.

I bought this to replace my Corsair Wired Nightsword. It worked great for awhile but after updating the firmware to try and fix issues reconnecting, after my PC woke up from sleep, the lighting no longer works even though it's set in the ICUE software and active profile. Updating the firmware was a chore in itself. The software wanted the dongle connected, though it was, then it wanted connected via USB but wouldn't recognize that it was, though the mouse could be used. Now, the left button registers double clicks most of the time even when only clicking one time. Once I find the box (I hope I saved it) I'll be exchanging or returning it. Overall for gaming, it worked well, when it was working correctly and would connect.

This mouse rules. It's very comfortable to use. I've had problems with smaller mice in the past and this one is the right size. It's very smooth and is so easy to switch between 2.4G and bluetooth. It's also a lot cheaper than some other name brand name mice out there. The Corsair RGB app is very easy to use and configure the lights and also save those settings directly to the mouse. I can't recommend this mouse enough.

Five programmable shortcut buttons, two scroll buttons, a scroll wheel, rechargeable (saves on batteries), and has some really cute color changing LED's. Moves really well, and it doesn't feel like a cheap piece of junk either. What's not to like? Just buy it already!

When I first got this mouse, I couldn't be happier. It was comfortable, I snagged a good deal (I believe it was $10 off when I got it), it fit my hand perfectly, everything. It is a little on the lighter end, but the shape allows for a comfortable, relaxed grip that keeps my hand from cramping during games and image editing. As of perhaps two weeks ago, however, it started having double clicking issues. I've researched it and it should only be a firmware concern, which means it isn't sufficient for me to return it, but it is frustrating enough that any competitive online games would definitely be affected, and I sometimes struggle with simple tasks. I'm hoping to wait it out, but this rating might go down if this isn't fixed. Product review prior to firmware issue: 4 stars Product review including firmware issue: 2 stars
