Corsair's take on red switches is an excellent feel and sound for anyone liking a higher end keyboard, but are not looking for much of the bells and whistles that tend to hang around more expensive keyboard products.

This is my first mechanical keyboard that ive had love how it feels. Really like all the different lighting effts i can use. Software is kidda buggy.

Absolutely spectacular keyboard. I love the red linear switches. Such a beautiful sound with a crisp feeling. If I could give it six stars I would. Amazing RGB lighting with tons of different features. Connects via USB.

This keyboard is overall a good purchase. However there are a few things that I should mention. The k70 is primarily a gamer keyboard as the keys are highly sensitive to touch. While it did great in fps type games where running was important I found that typing out a lengthy email was frustrating due to how little pressure you have to apply to the keys for them to activate. This led to many errors along the way. I will say after about a week I did get used to it more but in the end I gave to my son because of the typing issues I was having. So if you're a little finger heavy this may not be the board for you. I also had a problem with the volume knob crashing the Corsair software on certain games and I would lose functionality of all macros and the volume. RGB keys look great and the software allows you to customize to your liking key colors and patterns. I would certainly recommend the k70 to hangers who play fps type games mostly but this who are casual players like myself who use their computer for other uses I would go a non mechanical route.

loving the sound for my office. makes typing tickets and reports much more bearable and relaxing. 10/10

Gaming is awesome ! Touch of keys feels so natural & it’s super quiet. RGB lighting wonderfully advanced & colorful. Love it!

Got it for my girl who does alot of typing and she loves it over the steel series. The sound of the steel and over sensitive keys wr a problem for her. The feel and sound of this keyboard suits her way better.

Excellent keyboard for the price. Build quality and key feel/sound are top notch. Only downside is no USB pass-through and none removable cable. This however is what makes this keyboard a more budget priced model. I think it's an acceptable compromise.

Got as a replacement for the one I had the longest. It feels buttery smooth on key presses, isn't overly loud and hasn't yet one time in about 6 months or more, had a single key get stuck or jam. RGB works just fine. Only gripe is the media dial and media keys aren't as visible or have any abrasions that make them easier to find without looking for them. Previous keyboard had raised, somewhat 'metal' media keys and dial that stuck out above the plastic. That's a me thing, though.

Got this for my brother so he can have a keyboard because his laptop keys are popping off. Really good for the price, actually sounds good with the linear switches no ringing sounds and feels nice overall.

It's a really good mechanical keyboard for the price.

Ok let’s start of saying this is a HANDS DOWN 5 star!! When I was a kid like, around 13 years old I remember just touching this keyboard one day at BestBuy and man, I fell in love on sight! I remember staying there typing on it for an awhile and then parents said to me, “Jake come on boy! It’s time to go.” And ever sense then I knew that would be my Dream keyboard. Now that I have it that I’m older :) I’ve never had a keyboard that so satisfying to use everyday! It’s so bulky and ferm, it can be quiet or loud depending on how you use it, and that’s a good thing for gamers and regular use. To rap this review up I would recommend to anybody I know this keyboard! Great gift too! Bye now! Jacob M.

I’ve never really cared about anything but a basic keyboard. I bought this for my work since I was only given a laptop and maaaan I tell you I’ll never have a basic keyboard again. I love this thing. In going to buy one for my home computer as well

Amazing mechanical keyboard, sounds good, feels good. Solid for gaming corsair really never fails. Also the volume knob is nice if you also dabble in music or video production.

Have experience with two keyboards and this one is leagues better than the one I previously had and it sounds pristine and it has swappable key caps.
