    Very Solid, Deceptively Comfortable

Initial looks would make you think this is going to be a less than comfortable mouse, with the sharp drop off on the back, however once it's under your hand it's not noticeable at all. It's a very heavy mouse, although that is adjustable. It has an aluminum frame, combined with the weight leaving it feeling very solid. RGB? Very yes. The box art seems to show the lighting around the mouse wheel as reflecting off of it, however it's only visible as it projects onto the mousepad and from directly overhead. The wheel seems to be some sort of magical high gloss black that does not reflect anything. the rear lighting zone however looks great, shows through the logo, out the bottom/back, and through a grill cut into the sides of the aluminum frame as well. The DPI button color is also programmable per profile. The DPI selector does not go all the way up to the full 12k by default, but each of the DPI profiles are adjustable in the Corsair CUE software which can open up the top end. The mouse can also be calibrated for your mousepad, and even for how far you tend to lift your mouse when you move it.

    Best Mouse I've Ever Owned!

This is BY FAR the best computer mouse I've ever owned. The overall build quality is tremendous. The weighting is perfect AND CAN BE ADJUSTED if it's not! The RGB could be better but I'm not worried about that at all as it looks nice only when I'm not using it. Surface Calibration using CUE is simple and intuitive. It's an astonishing device. Incredible work Corsair!

Mid sized mouse, good amount of weight that is adjustable. Sniper button lowers DPI to lowest set amount. Not something that I personally use ever but can be remapped to a different button. Pinky finger is stuck in a weird limbo when you first get use to it and just sits awkwardly

I bought this with the intentions of using it for RPGs and team based PC games. It's excellent and I love all the features. Not to mention it's beautiful to look at. The settings allow you to change all the colors of the leds, button functions and etc. Even the mouse weights can be changed. 11/11 Would buy again.

I 'downgraded' to this from a Razer Oroborous because I jumped on the RGB bandwagon and the Oroborous doesn't have an RGB version yet. The mouse feels great and looks awesome. The only thing I don't like is the red button on the side. I wish the button was backlit and didn't have the press and hold to change dpi functionality (I changed its setting to be my usual dpi because I don't change it). All in all, from going from a $150 mouse to a $40 mouse I have to say this is probably the best mouse I've owned. Hopefully it holds up for 2-3 years like my others have.

I got this as a gaming mouse and it's a good mouse. I wouldn't say it's great or amazing, but it's good at what it's supposed to do. There's the standard buttons to go back and forward on web pages, and buttons by the scroll to increase/decrease the DPI automatically. And aesthetically, it lights up which is pretty cool. the feel of it took some getting used to because this is my second gaming mouse. It felt weird at first but didn't take long to get used to. It's also a bit heavier than my last one which I like. If you want a standard gaming mouse without too much extra stuff and does what it needs to do (lets you play PC games), I would recommend this one.

The RGB options are great, especially if you''re running a Corsair RGB keyboard. You can match the lighting effects. Otherwise, it's a solid mouse with good sofware. The only complaint I have is that the right side of the mouse pokes my hand sometimes. Isn't my mouse though, it's the wife's and she doesn't notice it.

This gaming mouse is not one of the high end mice you can spend a great deal on. However, it has worked very well according to the owner; my son. It seems to be the right weight and size for his 14 year old hand.

I've had this mouse for over a month now and to begin this mouse is on the heavier side of mouses, so take that into account when getting it, you can adjust the weight a little but even then it is still a heavy mouse, the size is comfortable to me, I have medium sized hand palms (palm width is 3.5 inches, palm height 3.8 inches) and noticed the best grip for it is a claw grip since it is easier to lift it up, I have problems with others types of grip styles (palm grip) since the right side of the mouse isn't rough enough or has a curvature to prevent it from slipping from my pinkie finger, if you have dry hands you might find this to be a bigger issue since it would slip with more ease. The button positioning is nice, you won't hit the sniper button or the dpi buttons by accident, although I do occasionally hit the multimedia side key on accident but very rarely during high intensity moments, mine are binded to volume up/down so no problem there. The light from the front wheel is unnoticeable since the mouse wheel doesn't reflect the light at all (you can barely notice it). The other light is pretty nice, by installing some corsair software I got it to turn red when the cpu temperature is high and blue when it is cool. The cord is made of some sort of fabric, so no rubber here which is nice. DPI setting higher than 3000 DPI aren't necessary in my case since 1500 DPI is comfortable for me to play MOBAS. This mouse also doesn't get dirty, the only part that gets a wipe from time to time is the sniper button sides which tend to collect a bit of dirt. The only problem that I noticed is that in my particular Windows 10 setup I had to turn down the polling rate from 1000Hz to 250Hz as this high polling rate would cause some lag when dragging application windows in WIndows 10.

Fits in the hand well, can feel slightly small. Easy to use RGB software. No calibration required for sniper button. Downsides - the RGB is yellow by default and doesn’t change until the software boots. Also the sniper button isn’t programmable as another function as far as I can tell.

This is my first gaming mouse and I am very happy with it . I like the weight of it and how it feels in my hand . But this is designed for first person shooters and I was having trouble finding a game that supports the thumb trigger button . But overall I'm happy with the purchase .

This is a Mighty Mouse for Work

I bought this when I started my first office job. In that job, I do tons of copying, pasting, scrolling and switching between tabs. With the fully programmable keys, you will reach to "Ctrl + C" or "Ctrl + V" on your keyboard even less! Sometimes I don't have to use the keyboard unless I have to type! If you want to "wow" your co-workers or be a bit festive at work the fully customizable RGB lighting will fit that bill. The quality is rugged. There's a metal frame that the plastic parts are attached to. Please note there's a Light circle between you and the mouse scroll wheel. If you press the up arrow the movement sensitivity goes up. Down is making a slower cursor. (I never used this) I STRONGLY recommend this mouse to anyone who wants to get away from the feather-like build quality or the hand cramps from the mouse provided with a pre-built computer. Or if you game its good for that too. NOTE; There is a glitch where if you leave the computer on overnight (then the company computers update) the mouse will start to freak out. My recommendation is to turn the PC off when you go home and you'll also get the added bonus of being nice to our planet. :)

A definite upgrade to my old G mouse from Logitech. The weight is perfect and so is the width for my hand size. I play WoW mostly on this mouse and occasionally Heroes of the Storm. Non gaming wise this mouse works like a charm. No complaints with tracking, lift off, or just problems in general. I like the RGB lighting and it matches the rest of my RGB setup.

I bought this mouse to pair with my Corsair Strafe keyboard for use in my office (not for gaming). Figured if I was going to have a cool keyboard I should have the mouse, as well. The mouse is an excellent size & shape, perfect in my hand, and has a number of pre-configured yet individually-configurable buttons. These include 3 buttons on the left side, including a "fire" button, plus 2 buttons just behind the scroller wheel that allow you to control mouse tracking speeds (5 speeds total), each shown with a different color. This helps in my world with photo editing when using the mouse, allowing me to quickly slow the mouse tracking speed, then returning to normal speed without having to go into the Windows mouse settings. Scrolling is smooth with or without a mouse pad. The color scheme is controllable using the Corsair program, and also can link to your keyboard's color scheme, allowing the color to "flow" from the keyboard to the mouse (and then to the mouse pad & headphones if you own them) before flowing back to the keyboard. Just kind of a cool look overall. In the end, it's a pricey mouse just for everyday use, but if you're a gamer this is definitely worth checking out.

I’m enjoying using this mouse quite a bit. It feels good in my hand, and I hardly think about it when I’m using it (a good thing, if I’m thinking about it it’s not working). I really like that the frame is bent aluminum sheet. This gives me a good feeling about the longevity of the mouse. The plastic components feel solid too, a nice soft grip that doesn’t make my hand contort. I was skeptical about the RGB lighting. I have an older Logitech wired mouse that changes color based on the profile, and it always seemed kinda gimmicky. Plus, I’ve heard CUE is finicky. My first impressions were wrong though, while the stock lighting setup is pretty tacky looking, I’ve started to really enjoy the lighting effects, plus the different colors on the DPI indicator to show different modes is very nice. As far as software, I’m running a Linux distro on my gaming computer so CUE doesn’t work. I found an open source project that replaces it and I’ve really enjoyed it. It has a nice looking UI and it’s fairly easy to use. The lighting effect configuration still confuses me, but that’s just the nature of programmable effects.

It's got a nice weight to it and is very accurate for gaming. The sniper button decreases the DPI as you hold it for lining up a sniping shot. It's pretty useful if you play FPS games.

Requires corsair utility to be running for the rgb effect to work. Used to have a corsair m40 prior to this and after about a year of (extensive) use the left click button died. The one on this (new) mouse is already iffy at times, i would guess this is a common problem. Other than that I am very satisfied with the mouse. The grip is comfortable for me and I prefer the weight and tracking over the logitech g400s which i also have currently.

    Gaming mouse vs. ordinary mouse

I must admit that I was not looking for a gaming mouse per se. I needed a mouse for regular productivity work on my computer. I had purchased an RGB keyboard for the look of the lighting so I figured it made sense to get an RGB mouse to complement it. This mouse was not cheap but it was on sale at Best Buy so I took a chance. First of all, I was very happy with the RGB lighting (my main purpose for buying this mouse). It allows different colors in the front and the back as well as the logo. It does a nice job of fading from one color to another smoothly. In terms of operation, it works fine like any decent mouse. I'm not an avid gamer so I can't comment if it is better or worse than other gaming mice. My son still prefers his SteelSeries Rival 600 because of the adjustable weights. Now, I am OCD and I was disturbed that this mouse is not symmetrical at first. It took some getting used to but I eventually treat this as a piece of art and is designed for right-handed people so I'm okay with it now. It appears to be missing the back end compared to other mice but that just allows the rear light to project onto the surface so you can see the colors better. There is a button on the left for your thumb that slows down the scrolling, which my son says is for more precise aiming in games but I don't make use of that function. Overall, I like this mouse and it seems to be well built and functions perfectly.
