This a great power supply, very highly rated and has done extremely well for reliability! Pros: Silent Operation, Great Reliability, 10 Year Warranty Con: Cables are a bit thick and harder to manage (corsair uses extra capacitors in the cables, Cables are kind of ugly, but thats basically normal Only downside is that this power supply runs a bit pricey, so I'd try to grab it on sale.

Excellent PSU. Has more than enough power for my system. I got this one as a replacement for the one I had (different manufacturer) and am very pleased with it. So much so, I purchased another one for another desktop that I was building. The full modular makes it very easy to run the cables to the motherboard and other peripherals.

I just built a computer with a Ryzen 3700x, 2070 Super, 4 case fans and an AIO cooler. My total power draw if every component was under full load is under 500W. However, getting an 850W PSU means that I almost never ever hear the PSU fan start up. I have no doubt this component will last many generations of parts upgrades PC's get through the years.

Great power supply. Ease of installation and enough cables for anything. Love the modular aspect of it and ability to use only the cables you need and not have to hide a lot of spare cables. Runs fairly quiet. Perfect for what I needed with a new build. The cables themselves are nice quality with the sheathing to hide multiple wires

This 850W Corsair PSU delivers a good amount of wattage at a reasonable price. At $150, which is what I paid for it, it is a tad pricey. This is likely due to the power supply shortage with the pandemic. Overall it's quiet and delivers ample power for my demanding system. I can run a 10700k overclocked and an RTX 3080 without trouble.

I can't think of a reason to fault this unit. It was well set up and and easy to install. It's very powerful and relatively quiet. It comes with plenty of plug options and decent cable management options. I've been running it for about 6 months with no problems on a medium power hungry rig. Overall, great unit.

Very good power supply. Fully modular so no loose cables anywhere. Corsair takes noise very seriously and it shows with this PSU. Its whisper quiet even under full load. For the price you really cant beat it. Strongly suggest picking this up if you have a 3080 or a 6800xt and 0lan on doing some overclocking

Corsair continues to maintain its standards of quality. I replaced a 6-year old 550w Corsair power supply (that still runs like a champ) because I needed additional power after a graphics card update. Easy to install. Modular cables are firm but give enough bend to give my case its deserved cable management.

is kind of overkill for my rig but i needed something available at the store at the time and they didn't have a 750 whats 80 plus gold so i went with this. So far so good the fan don't even run when I'm gaming and it was easy to install and route the cables. The only thin to consider is the sata power cables are odd but workable

Lots of power to run just about whatever you want. I have a wall meter and its pulling 760 watts 24hrs a day 7 days a week. I run a mining rig that is also my video edition rig with this. The price was a bit expensive but its the time we live in. I like the Zero fan and the modular design.

Great power supply. You get what you pay for, Corsairs makes some of the best power supplies available. Super quiet and the fan doesn't even run unless its using over 500 watts. Includes 3 sets of pcie power cables and you can use up to 4 if you are also powering your cpu on the motherboard.

Intended to but a 750, however I didn't have much luck locating one. A fortunate event which led me to the RM 850x. Power in reserves and ensures the system is ready for any future expansion. Black modular cables, also allow a custom fitting as well as a very unnoticeable fan speed but keeps it very cool.

Can't ask for more. Modular design. Powers two graphics cards + motherboard + ports and drives. 850W to keep it cool up to a large load. Fan shuts off automatically when the power supply is cool. (it is off most of the time for me, YMMV) Efficient design and gold rating means it stays cool, consistent, and doesn't burn your electric bill.

Bought this to replace an ageing PS that does not accommodate the required connectors for my new motherboard. It is super quiet at low load because the fans are off and was still relatively quiet when the load increases and the fan turns on. The modular cables are a plus.

Love the psu. It was a little bit overkill for what I needed but I wanted to also future proof my build since the new video cards will be out this year. The cables are a nice braided black which looks great. Plenty of cables for whatever build you might be constructing. Excellent.

Great, reliable PSU for a first time builder (or anyone). PSU is definitely not a component you want to cheap out on and the RM 850x is perfect for a high end PC build. Good performance and quiet too. Fully Modular cables make set up easy and straightforward

This power supply is fantastic. It is built super well and comes with a array of cables. It is also super quiet under load and has no coil whine at all. Comes with a 10 year warranty as well, so that only shows you how much Corsair trust their product.

Look no further, if you need 850 watts of power in a build this thing is great. Its whisper quiet, and full of great features. My one complaint is a lack of a fan test button that really is a minor inconvenience. Seriously folks, this is a solid PSU and its gold certified to boot.
