Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the RMx Series 850W power supply's ample power, modular design, and quiet operation. Many appreciate the high-quality components and easy installation. While some users reported an audible coil whine, the majority found the unit to run cool and efficiently. The positive feedback on quality and ease of use outweighs the relatively few negative comments.

Summerville Geek Squad is the BEST

After having a new graphics card and power supply installed, I started having issues with the tower rebooting on its own. After taking the tower in to my Summerville Best Buy, as usual, it would not have the issue. After being told, they could find no problem and told to pick up the tower, I went to the store and talked to Will. Will and another associate thought that the problem, even though not seeing it happen, was that the replaced power supply was not powerful enough. Will suggested going from a 650, which was an upgrade frome the 350, to an 850. I had him order one and had the Geek Squad install it. I have now had the tower back at home and have not had the rebooting issue to happen. Thanks to the knowledgeable staff, My tower has been upgraded to run my RTX graphics card and I am ready to enjoy same. Thank you again to Will and the find people at the Summerville Geek Squad.

Used same PSU model for two PC builds. Con:- - Generally good quality (my 9 yr old Corsair PSU still running) - 10 year warranty - plenty power for low to mid range PC builds - quiet Con: - cables had issues with Motherboard (not sure if MoBo or PSU maker issue, or both)

First one I got was DOA. However bestbuy replaced it no questions asked, and the new one is great. Runs silent most of the time, and the modular design is great. The cables that come with it are very stiff and have some ugly heat shrink, id suggest some cablemod cables.

Ever since I started building pc’s I’ve only used Corsair psu’s and they’ve never failed on me. This psu in general came nicely packaged and came with all the cables necessary plus more. Would recommend to anybody building a pc with high power needs.

Great PSU. It's very reliable, no issues on my mining rig even though I use all connections. The power supply runs quite cool and has the ability to turn off its internal fan completely should it not need airflow at that moment. Keeps things very quiet!

Excellent quality product. Comes with bag full of cables. You can use that bag to store cables. Runs smooth with no noise. I am using new RTX3070 Founder's Edition GPU + Ryzen 7 3700x. My systems runs smooth with this power supply. I am glad I bought extra Watts.

PSUs have gotten more expensive, without necessarily gaining quality, but this still strikes a nice balance of power, features, quality, for the price when on sale. No complaints thus far, quiet, runs with the fan off in silent mode when the PC isn't under stress.

Great power supply for custom builds. Plenty of options for display cards, hard drives and peripherals. And the modular connectors means you plug in what you need and don't have to zip tie and tuck away unnecessary cabling.

I'd love to give some sort of glowing review for this thing, but the simple fact of the matter is that power supplies are the kind of hardware that are at their best when you don't know they're there and you don't even have to think about them. I've not had to think about this one since I bought it. Corsair makes great hardware, and this is no exception. So, I'll say the best thing I can possibly say about a power supply: after installing it, it worked great and continues to work great, and I haven't had to think about it or look at it at all. Power supplies aren't bling. They won't entertain you and they're not much to look at. The best ones work for years and you never have to look at or think about them, and the garbagey ones give your system nothing but trouble and inconsistency/failure issues. This is one of the good ones, by an extremely reputable brand.

WOW! Only after installing this PSU did I realize how noisy my old one was. This runs super quiet, fully modular, and gold rated. Only slight issue are the stiff cables as other people have pointed out but that really isn't a deal breaker for me.

Great PSU so far. Runs 24/7 here. Running an NVMe SSD, about 9 fans total (and still quite I might add,) an RTX2060, a few days HDDs and believe it or not... An optical drive! Never struggles. Install was a breeze and with some zip ties (included) cable management is also cake.

Corsair is known for making some very reliable power supplies. This one is no exception. I've used it for a couple of computer builds now after being pointed towards it by friends. Fully modular cable design is very handy when trying to deal with cable management.

All the pieces were in the box. It installed easily. Fully modular which is awesome. Plenty of cables. They include a bag for the spare cables which is nice. Runs very quiet. Nothing gets an Excellent Value unless they pay me to use the item. Sorry, that is just how I roll.

Plenty of power for today's beastly gpu's and cpu's! Ripping a 5800x and 3070 oc'd like a boss! I really like the modular design so can use only the cables you need, and plenty of options for custom sleeved aftermarket cables out there!

This power supply is great. So far it's been reliable at medium load. Silent operation at low loads is fantastic as the fan does not spin. For your average gamer or PC enthusiast, this is a great power supply. Highly recommended.

This PSU is great it has all and more of cables you need with it and is stable and from a trustworthy brand like corsair so you know its good. It does get hot when being used and the installation into my 220t case was hard to align but it works like a PSU should.

Gets the job done, plenty of cables, and super quiet. I have not had any issues with it at all. 850 W is also a great amount of power to future proof yourself for the upcoming RTX 3000 series graphics cards which are going to draw a lot of power.

This PSU is a power house. With Gold Efficiency, it can help reduce your electricity bill a bit. The cables are very sturdy, at one point, it made it tough to plug in because it was not as flexible. The PSU is very whisper quiet which is pleasant. Can't go wrong with Corsair!
