RAM shows up as 3000mhz on cpu-z. Which is normal. The ”6000MHz” speed you see advertised on the kit isn’t actually the clock speed in MHz. That would be the speed in MT/s (Megatransfers per second), which is double the RAM speed in MHz due to modern PCs using DDR, or double data rate memory. The data transfer happens twice per clock tick, so you get 6,000 MT/s (million transfers per second).
