The frame is a cheaper composite type wood which scratches and chips very easily. Mine came with a nice little chip out of the box. Too lazy to return though. The face is polycarbonate and comes with a layer of plastic you need to peel off. My face has a small dimple in it that I can see when I walk past since there’s a lamp underneath it. The back clasps were a pain. Some were loose and the rest are super tight. They overlap the backer piece so you have to kind of pry the backer piece off then jam it back in once you put the record cover in. Overall it does the job and looks fine, but not really the quality I was hoping for at all.
